Hi all, recently I'm trying to apply for a housing loan and the banker said I had a personal loan instead of PTPTN loan (the only loan I have so far).

Hence, I had checked my CCRIS report and noted that my PTPTN loan had stated as "other term loan /financing" instead of "education loan". I had asked the Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) on this matter but they asked me call to PTPTN branch as they had nothing to do with the info stated in CCRIS report.

However, PTPTN said they did not face this kind of issue before and no solution provided by them.

I told the banker my situation and they suggest me to reschedule my PTPTN loan so that it will update the CCRIS to the correct term. But I try to avoid to reschedule my loan because PTPTN officer did not recommend me to do so since my repayment is consistent and no delay outstanding.

May I know is there any method to change the term shown in the CCRIS report?

Really frustrated in this situation now. Is there anyone who had came across this kind of situation before? bangwall.gif

You frustrated?
But not feeling guilty for not being consistent with your ptptn loan repayment?
Go ptptn office to check how much your tunggakan and settle it.

I had no idea what you are trying to say, as I had mentioned in the post that I paid on time, consistently and the repayable amount exactly amount as per agreement (din pay extra since the interest had been calculated based on total loan amount) . Checked ptptn statement and no tunggakan bro.

Exactly. The only way it will affect ur loan application is if it has been flagged for repayment issue.

TS probably not telling the whole truth. Did u occasionally repay the loan or are u paying the correct amount? This is because theres a tunggakan amount, which means if every month u are suppose to pay back rm200 but u only pay rm100, then the remaining rm100 will go into tertunggak amount which u need to clear based on your current scheduled loan payment.

Go check ur tertunggak amount. Alot of my friends kena this last time, thought monthly pay RM50 can avoid the blacklist, then suddenly kena blocked from going oversea in airport.

Paid consistently and and exact amount stated in the agreement. Checked to ptptn statement and no tunggakan.

I had applied the loan from few bankers and only Rhb bank had requested me to do the reschedule for the ptptn. Others banker such as HLB, PBB and Standard Charted does not request me to do so.

So, currently i had asked others bankers to help me proceed for the loan.
