Hi all Sifus,
I am a first time home buyer. I have an idea of which location to buy a property (for staying) and have been browsing online but because of the many choices, I am facing difficulty to narrow down properties to actually keep an eye for/view.
Any tips to surveying and narrowing down the choices/finding the best deal?

1. The best Go to the desired location and desired empty house and ask around - to get directly from owner (for landed ) for condo ask the guard
2. Second best Go to the desired location and desired empty house and look out for ads on the gate - may get owner's contact or maybe be agent. Depends on luck
3. 3rd best is like you did or Go to mudah.my - May get contact owner directly.
Just avoid agent, they're bloodsuckers.

if its landed you can go round that area and see if owners are hanging for sale signage. if its condo, you can search through online listing from iproperty, propertyguru, mudah etc. sometimes bulletin board will have owner for sale listing. for actual transaction go check out www.brickz.my
