True. 128GB is the sweet spot, so it's a pity that Apple doesn't make the storage configuration the same for iPhone Xs and Xs Max, i.e. 64,128 and 256 instead of 64,256 and 512. The 512GB pricing is out of reach for most normal folks.

I also started my iPhone journey with iPhone 4, heh heh. Even though I always end up using an iPhone as my primary phone but I do enjoy my flings with Android's latest and greatest every now and then

I am still thinking who will go for 512GB. Storage is so huge in fact bigger than my notebook ssd. Lol.

Samsung have a bad reputation at least for me.
Their Galaxy series i tried after a year the batt life detroit to the max.
8am - 100% down to 3pm- 20% without even much usage.
Maybe i am the unlucky one.
