coating and scratches doesnt relate to each and other. Coating is the the oleophobic coating which repels water and oil substance. Its the smooth feel when your finger glide over the glass. This coating usually wears off around 3-4 months+.

But then why now the hoda to more prone to scratches as compare to new one when use.

The Hoda on my XR was good from November last year till last week when I sold off the phone

Yes, mine is not as smooth already due to the oleo wear off.
Already change new one and now back to smooth and nice..
