Just got my iPhone XR replace at Switch The Mines.

My previous iPhone XR HK set got Face ID problem

bought it second hand for 2.5k

straight send to warranty and the guy said will give new replacement unit

Now my iPhone XR is MYset unit

Feels so happy now that I can use face id again

massive props to Switch customer service and technician team. they were super helpful and fast. better than my experience at Machines AASP before

yup. they test the face id module and then straight say we will replace the phone for u no question asked.

There’s also no numbering system. just come to the AASP and write ur name.

Beside ur name in the form there is time that indicate when will ur turn come. in the meantime can go jalan2 makan and shopping

much much better than Machines AASP where there is a numbering system and u must wait there until its ur number

btw among all AASP i’ve PM on Facebook, Switch replied the fastest. Machines, Mac City, Thunder, IT World etc. all took a while. Some of em never replied at all


btw time to experience the iPhone XR. need some times to get use to the gesture ui. am coming from iPhone 7 Plus. Sure as heck im gonna miss the 3D Touch

but at 2.5K? can’t really complain

ugghh anyone having notifications issue?

I dont get any whatsapp notifications. only get the whatsapp text after open my whatsapp. if in background idont get the notifications zzzzz

week after using the XR and ditching my 7 Plus. so far not pleasant experience. Not sure, is it software issue?

just got home and whatsapp is doing fine if connected to wifi. others app such as email also works fine if connected to wifi

weird since i already allow mobile data to work on all of the apps

already did that and still same result. gonna try resetting my network setting

update: resetting my network doesn’t work. cant even fetch mail when im on my mobile data.

yup full coverage. i think the TG got some kind of lamination

the TG feels damn super smooth and water droplet will not disperse as in a normal screen

installation was a breeze though i do make some adjustment to get the perfect placement

the cheapest mfi cable is by ugreen imo
