and apple has started selling the 18w usb-c charger that comes with ipad pro 2018.

That official case looks like it should cost not more than rm30 max. Don't think it offers any kind of substantial drop protection.

I think so, but I more wishing with 3rd party type c cable has a auto disconnected once it’s fully charged, same as type A cable right now.

Type C has a plenty of markets, need a MacBook charging cable will do, this is very user friendly.
Not need to bring a lightning cable along and out for travel
If your household own a android phones with type C can be use instantly 😅😀

That won't happen, but at least we'll get a USB C to lightning cable instead of a USB A one

phone. so no matter how many watt charger u but above 18w it is not going to help in speeding up the charging.

Ya, I'm also a bit doubtful on the drop protection offered by all Apple's original case actually. They do look really classy though.

The case will provide same drop protection as compared to their other official cases. Only thing "special" is the scratch resistant coating they apply on their case, which covers the outside AND inside also. Transparent cases in the market dont apply this coating on their case

Just wait for review. I doubt their coating is that special.
