so, we have 2 options.. home & away single elim. if draw, we will determine the winners by the away goals.
OR
we'll have best of 3 games. player win 2 times, he wins the round. aways goals arent implemented.
so in the end, i'll let the majority of the players to decide for the 2 options

Well definitely i would like to vote for Best of 3 format as well
But there's something i need to know...if a player wins 2 times in a row, obviously the player wins the round...but what if a player win once and lost the other? I mean how's gonna host the third game? Each players is allowed to host once for the first and second game...but if a third game has to be played...there will be question on who can host the third game...well of course we hope the players will not fight over who's hosting the third game and hope they can jst decide on their own...but i think the best will be a coin toss to see who gets to host the third game

And also...if the first and second games are drawn games after 90 minutes...we will proceed to extra time and also penalty to decide the winners right? Just hope the marshals will brief on this as well to the players to avoid the players from quitting the games

Moon, the LONGBALL rules in CELGAMES is kinda general. Maybe you can clarify it tomorrow during the briefing. Orelse players will take the advantage to complain tomorrow when they win/lose.
Thank You
Yeah the rules must be clarified and briefed on the players clearly before the tourney starts...i can see many people are unaware of the official rules during prelims...so i hope the marshals will explain clearly about the rules to the players who will participate in the Lowyat prelim
I do agree you listening to the representatives of Winds and MyFes for the clear rules of FIFA 07...another 2 rules that i think is essential to be discussed are the:
1. Fair play rule. Gamer who pauses and changes formation/substitutions during the game will have to pass the ball to the opponent after the changes have been done. Then the opponent needs to pass the ball back to the gamer immediately after he checks for correct/intact man-marking (if he's using). Does this rule need to be followed? If yes, then i suggest the ball to be kicked out for a throw, instead of sending a high ball towards your opponent because it is very unfair as sometimes the strikers will chase and intercept the ball immediately and it will a be 1 on 1 situation with the keeper.
2. Injury-off rule. As stated in the official rules by WCG, the injury is off. However, during LAN/internet games, the injury is still actually still on even though you have off it in the games settings. Therefore, if really a player gets injured in a game, can the gamer requests for a restart? Because if one of the key player of the team is injured, especially when the rules stated INJURY OFF, it will be unfair to the gamer who suffered the situation. So what should the gamer do when his player injured?
These are some of the unclear rules in FIFA 07. Therefore, i hope the marshals will make the rules clear to all of the participants before the start of the tourney (prelim and top-16). Since i'm posting this at such hour, i hope moon will check on this thread before the start of the prelim hehe
