so if compare T005 with P4,

T005 more to performance and P4 more to comfort? Am i right?

because i am having difficulties choosing between this 2 for my size...found t005 rm300 a piece vs P4 rm380 a piece...

there is no 4st, only Primacy 4.

btw, that Taiwan video on comparing T005 v Primacy 4, take note T005 and T005A are two different tayars. T005 is geared towards performance-comfort whereas T005A is more comfort oriented. so there is no surprise if T005 bested Primacy 4 in most of the tests. T005A is more comparable to Primacy 4.

I think you have mistaken something. T005A is made for Asean market. The A is for Asean market.

yes, i understand that T005A is meant for asean market. however, in the said taiwan review video, the tire used is T005, not T005A.
in the video, Pause at 0:19

you can see the tread pattern resembles this: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic.jsp?t...ewall=Blackwall
not the same as T005A's pattern.

so no surprise if T005 is better than Primacy 4. however, i do feel T005A is neck-to-neck with Primacy 4.

Ya, the outer thread a bit different between t005a vs t005.

I have not try the primacy 4, but have been using other michelin tyres like ps3, xm1 and xm2. I can say all of this michelin tyres are pretty good in wet and aquaplanning.

But from my current experience using t005a, my personal feedback, dry is good. But aqua planning is bad. Driving in medium rain at 110kmh can feel bad aqua planning. Have to slow down although is brand new tyre. Compare to previously on PS3, slighty less than 50% thread left still can drive confidently without aqua planning issue.

Also this t005 tyre is very sensitive to air. A bit over fill will cause the ride to be bumpy and rough. Also at the tyre sidewall there is no thread wear, speed and load indicator...

Just change my 4 tyre to T005A, 215/50/17 for RM345 each with free balancing & alingment, no extra charge cc. From PS4 to T005A

Why change from performance to touring tyres? Feedbacks?

Prefer comfort & silent tyre, not really drive fast now. I like this Turanza, besides comfort & low noise, my steering feel lighter & not feel much different performance compare with PS4. PS4 a bit better at hard corner & during wet/heavy rain plus shorter braking distance. But now driving below 150kmh, no need PS4, save RM100+ each.

if compare with performance tyre (i previously using PS3), yes more silent. Steering feel a bit light too. However need to be aware of how many PSI air are we pumping, because t005a seems very sensitive to air.

For my size, VS PS3 i save about RM350 per donut, VS Primacy 4 i save about RM120 per donut. That is why end up choosing T005A against others due to price.
