basically same as P965 and P35 variances, only the chipset differents. btw, all DQ6 has quad triple phase voltage reg. 4*3=12.

That motherboard will probably be sold for RM1500++. I'm not going to splash out that kind of money for a motherboard. G35 is more like it...or maybe a P35. But G35 has better specs, albeit the built-in graphics and HD video processor (I thought that is supposed to be good, no?)...
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until September for the arrival of X38 and G35. Intel announced at Computex that, "X38 and G35 will start shipping within 90 days." I'm quite confident there would be no delays...but I'm hoping for a July or August availability...(fingers crossed)... |

Sorry guys, if i may ask, does this mean that the pictures illustrated that the mobo has GPU inbuilt? Can you still add your own graphics card to the mobo?

But with the limited amount of RAM, wouldn't it limits the resolution that it could support?

Nice board. However, I prefer a mobo without on-board graphics as they are usually inadequate for gaming.

since when HD2900XT become integrated graphic?... in2010, maybe.
X38 won't cost much. advantages of X38 over P35 is dual X16 pcie lane, pcie2.0(probably useless) and better overclocking BIOS(P35 bios not enough?!) |

QUOTE(toughnut @ Jun 13 2007, 08:56 AM) since when HD2900XT become integrated graphic?... in2010, maybe. i agree... most probably X1 series tech wif softmod... But X38 is built as current 975 class chipset boards... while P35 is same class wif current 965... so i think the price is gonna be around RM1299... *my boss Gigabyte supplier dunno anything bout this board yet... |

be reminded that gigabyte's 12 phase is actually 6 phases each has 2 choke
in gigabyte's case 12 chokes does not mean 12 phase a typical 1 phase has 1 driver, 2 mosfet, 1 cap, and 1 choke. in gigabyte's case i think is 1 driver, 4 mosfet, 1 cap, 2 chokes |
