I already got this 4G Wireless backup dongle and the sim is already activated but the dongle didn't work with Maxis router.

I've already tried the sim with modded modem and handphone, all working. The dongle work with laptop too.

Do i need to set something in the Maxis router to make it detect and connect with the usb dongle?

May i know how is the speed test with the dongle?

The 4G is depend your location signal. You can test at Speedtest.net

Or you ask your friend test their maxis mobile 4g in speedtest.net, same result

Because what i know is that the router is like usual VDSL/ modem router which not come with 4G.
the dongle provide the 4G speed to the router therefore was concern how the performance

No worry, the dongle can achieve the max speed for the speed.

Actually I want to say, this thread keep complaint the dongle plug into laptop unable use.............in fact you can self purchase a 4G modem, then can be settle

If the dongle can perform the top of the network then that will be great, since the stock modem given so no need waste by buying another 4G modem.
