Let me check back the mailer.
Thanks for pointer!
Have you tried it? Does it work?
*
QUOTE(soonwai @ Dec 16 2018, 12:56 PM)
Not yet try. Later today.

It seems the extra 5 cashbacks first mentioned on 13 Dec. Did not know that.

TnG serious want to challenge Boost.
*
QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 16 2018, 12:59 PM)
Oh really.
I didn't use TnG after I completed all 5 random cashbacks!

But If you buy high amount up to RM 60, RM 8 is guaranteed by the next working day.
That's 13.3% cash back.
*
QUOTE(soonwai @ Dec 16 2018, 01:06 PM)
Me too and also for the Tealive RM2.50 occasionally. That's cheaper than RM2.90 milo ping at the local coffee shop. I think they know that people like instant cash rewards. Who knows, maybe they'll make it a permanent feature.

Of course, will continue using it because of RFID.
*
Please lah guys, tolonglah ikut peraturan...

Got any promos about TnG please post in TnG thread, the thread is there for a reason, and Boost thread is moved to this section for a reason.

Sorry, I was making comparisons to Boost. How TnG is having similar type of promos to Boost. I think they're taking the good stuff from Boost and implementing it themselves. They smart.
*
You're sharing the promo, that's the point.

How to feedback Boost for merchant that claimed that Boost is 'system offline'? Or should report that to the management of the merchant?
*
Profile > "Have questions..." tab at the bottom > Chatbox icon at the bottom right > "+" icon

It's better to report to both sides if you can, but either one should also be enough.

First time paying using Boost in Tesco, and also the first time using the self checkout counter in Puchong branch...

Very smooth experience. biggrin.gif

Paid RM 13.85 = RM 1 shake

Why not go for RM 60 to get RM 8 rebate? Anyway I spent RM 60+ got RM 1.50 shake
*
Didn't really have much stuff to buy, just happened to be passing by there and bought some snacks that I need...

While the cashback is good to have, I'm not really that eager for it...

Also was there just to try Boost at Tesco and see how it turns out.

QUOTE(msa9696 @ Dec 21 2018, 01:15 AM)
It's very true, Boost is in a big mess now. Just to give example. All accounts achieved Tesco CB criteria and also all spent more than RM 100.

Boost A - no shake reward at Tesco, no Tesco RM 8 cash back, no surprise gift on 20th as promised
Boost B - no Tesco RM 8 cash back, no surprise gift on 20th as promised
Boost C - no Tesco RM 8 cash back, no surprise gift on 20th as promised

Sent message to Boost on Tesco CB, as usual, all came back with standard answer, asking us to share phone number and print screen to prove the spending. I mean seriously? Boost missed out all 3 accounts on the Tesco CB? All have to prove our spending?
*
QUOTE(msa9696 @ Dec 21 2018, 01:27 AM)
If finished, they should reply so, and not asking us to print screen to prove it. Moreover, it's true they're having problems now, with few claims that they didn't receive the shake reward. Also, one hero from Boost claimed earlier that by the end of yesterday will release the surprise gift, guess nobody got it yet. They're just everywhere now
*
Using screenshot as a proof has always been the standard procedure...

Otherwise, any Tom Dick and Harry can just simply claim the reward.

But no doubt, they're having too much promos which messed up themselves.

QUOTE(kiddly2 @ Dec 21 2018, 10:01 AM)
Anyone use boost to reload Tng at kk mart before?
*
Can't be done, reloading TnG and paying with Boost both operate differently.

Screenshot is not the best way though, especially when it comes to finance matter.
Anyone can photoshop a screenshot. If they want to solely based on the screenshot to give cashback i think they will go bankrupt soon.

Instead they should hv verified using their own systems and check the transaction under this user. if so, screenshot is totally redundant and not necessary - again for financial matter.

if worst case they really cant check their system for these transactions, then i m ready to say good bye to Boost, i dont feel safe.
*
QUOTE(msa9696 @ Dec 21 2018, 10:22 AM)
Just received Tesco CB after feedback, so confirmed still have quota.
Not meant to doubt this SOP, of course they need some proof to entertain dispute.
What I was saying is, all these should be automatically given, when one requires to proof spending, it raises lots of questions, i.e what if we don't feedback, will we still get it, will they quietly sweep under the carpet etc
*
I think they do verify your personal info (mainly phone number and name) using their system because that's how they recognize you when responding to your feedbacks, just that screenshot is like an icing on top of the cake. Btw, not defending them, it's just what I think.

There's no doubt that their system is not perfect yet with those missing cashbacks going on, even their app isn't perfect which is still buggy at times.

Stability still goes to Grabpay and Favepay, Boost still have lots to improve.

Sad to say it was me who praised them. That was back then they were really responsive. Now with all the promo they messed up. And my opinion has changed.

Also marketing and finance team is to be blamed for this
Whole chaos. They are the ones managing the campaign n cash back.
*
I feel that they're trying too hard to stay relevant in the market since they're the one leading the e wallet industry currently.

Can't really blame on that cuz of the fierce competition coming mainly from Grabpay and TnG, and the e wallet industry is still not stable yet because there's not much people who are loyal in using their service, most people just come and go at all of sudden and they need attractive promos and cashbacks to lure people to come and stick with their service.

Also a reason why other e wallets like Mcash, Vcash and Razer Pay etc. failed to gain traction in the market while still striving for that crumb of the pie.

Kinda upset, don't want to argue and cause trouble, and pays by cash...

Was the scanner lit up?

If it is, well you know I know lah.

No self checkout counters?
It's normal at Tesco.
They lazy to reboot the CC terminal.

Again, not every Tesco has self checkout counters.

No self checkout.

And I blame the stupid terminal. The GHL terminal must reboot from time to time....

I guess the future of wallet is not QR but NFC that can use same terminal together with VISA paywave
*
Future will still be QR here, it's easily accessible to everyone as long you have a smartphone.

NFC is still not widely known here, and not everyone has a phone that supports NFC, let alone using it as payment...

And it's also only available exclusively, the failure of Maybank Pay and CIMB Pay proved it.

I encountered before.
The CC terminal has hanged and the cashier lazy to reboot.
*
So what about those who wanna use cards? I guess they're also lazy to reboot then?

CC terminal is by CIMB which links to e wallet terminal by GHL, don't know whose fault is that for the hang.

Yea this really needs to be more widespread. Hope ghl fix those damn terminal hang issues as well.
*
Tbh, I prefer Paynet's implementation because it relies on just the QR code from a sign instead of the scanner from a machine, so there will be lesser issues.

But the amount of e wallets that GHL supports is better.

My enquiry and his reply.

Till now it’s not seen in my account.

Thought their customer service its working everyday from 9am to 9pm.
*
If I remember correctly, their customer service working hours is the same as office working hours.

I've tried before, they won't respond much on Saturday, and definitely won't respond on Sunday.
