QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Mar 1 2019, 02:22 PM) Yes, I top up every weekend with AmEx.Anyway, not sure how tight the security is of all this. I will receive notification from Maybank, every time I do an online transaction. Even for Grab Pay, I will receive SMS too though no OTP was generated. |

QUOTE(sms2u @ Mar 5 2019, 02:27 PM) My post view # is different from normal users. So can give me the direct link will be better.I already overwritten his post earlier and removed the link. So you can see "-Link removed" phrase, that was posted by me actually. Unless I'm blind but I can't see any referral code at all. The Soyacincau link has no referral code, unless I missed it? To others: This thread is for Boost only, I will do a clean up for MAE posts related. |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Mar 9 2019, 05:29 PM) Hi fruitie, is there any way to request a LYN author to make an article to help the Boost users to voice out their issues? Err.. Sorry, I don't know. Boost has been quite incompetent and irresponsible for quite some time now, mainly on ignoring messages from users and owing cashbacks to the users... The case like the image above is already beyond ridiculous... I think their business tactic should gain some public attention and shame, so they can improve. |

From first page regarding premium wallet: "**Beginning 1 September 2018, you can send up to RM500 monthly. Should you successfully complete the KYC process as determined by Boost, you'll be able to send money to your friends & family up to RM4,500 monthly."
What's this KYC process? I recalled I did my verification long time ago, should be before 1st September. So how can I know if I can transfer to my contacts up to 4.5k without testing water? I'm already having premium wallet but a bit confused on this KYC process. |

QUOTE(KaD1GO @ Mar 13 2019, 03:49 AM) KYC = Know Your Customer. Some sort of verification. They want to see your face and MyKad. Similar to registering BigPay. QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 13 2019, 07:23 AM) all ewallet have KYC (know your customer) process, that's the usual registration processes that we dont realize it OK, so when to do this KYC? If normal verification for Premium I have done long time ago. Is that considered complete for me?usually, for simple features/small wallet, kyc requirements are basic. if more critical features are required (e.g. withdrawal, increase purse size to higher limit, etc), then more details required like IC scan, facial scan, etc. remember, higher wallet size/limit, the higher the risk exposure, so, more work/due diligence by the issuer to perform in order to manage it. p/s: more advanced kyc is called e-KYC. even more details it will collect, query, and profiling about you. compare to traditional banks, when open accounts or other products, there are tons of docs and questionaires to fill? that's the traditional bank's kyc with you. |

QUOTE(theng168 @ Mar 13 2019, 10:25 AM) I see, I have transferred out to bank before. OK, then I assume I have completed the process to get 4.5k per month.First time requesting money from someone, as I always let them transfer on their own. I pressed RM 9.70 but when appeared on that person's phone that I requested for RM 9.69 and eventually I only got RM 9.69. Sorry, it is my first time doing this but why is the 1 cent got deducted? Any service fees? |

It was probably 6 months ago since I requested for withdrawal to my bank account but this time Boost did a good job, at least for this case. Requested on yesterday's morning and got it today. Last time it was around 3 days to complete.

QUOTE(sulab @ Mar 18 2019, 09:35 AM) Did you guys try to add more than 2 credit cards? When I tried to add 3rd card, Boost says "Reached Max. Due to security reasons, you can save up to 2 credit or debit cards on the App" Yes, just tried adding 3rd card, not able to do so. Anyone experiencing the same as mine? A pop-up message shows up saying only max 2 cards. |

To me, whether one card, two cards, three cards or even 10 cards carries the same risk. So, not sure what security reason they are referring to by limiting to only 2 cards.

Still have RM 60 to spare for my AmEx to reach 1k this month, so reloaded to Boost and it was done with ease. Card was added much earlier.
