I have been consuming mass tech extreme 2000 for some time. Recently it ran out when I went to the store and was recommended mass tech extreme xxxx. The staff recommended same dosage, 6cups per day.
When i checked the supplement facts :
xxxx Serving size : 3 scoops (291g) Directions For Mass Gainer Extreme XXXX: Mix 1 serving (3 scoops) with 16 to 20 oz. of water or skim milk in a blender and consume once daily. Alternatively, mix ½ serving(1.5 scoops) with 8 to 10 oz. of water or skim milk in a blender and consume twice daily.
2000 Serving size : 6 scoops (570g) Directions For Mass-Tech Extreme 2000: Mix 1 serving (6 heaping scoops) with 16 to 20 oz. of water or skim milk in a blender and consume once daily. Alternately, mix 1/2 serving (3 heaping scoops) with 8 to 10 oz. of water or skim milk and consume twice daily.
Q1. when it says 1 serving per day (eg. xxxx), it says 3 scoops. But the scoop they gave was 6oz, which is approximately 170g on google. If i took 3 scoops, it would not be 291g (as recommended). Why are the mathematics done so poorly, where did I go wrong?
Q2. i drank 6 cups on 2000, but i did not do the comparison since it is mentioned 6 on the fact as well as recommended by the staff. But now that I switched to xxxx, im not sure if I should drink 3 scoop as per the fact or 6 scoop as recommended by the staff

Two is One and One is None.

u cant just simply google and say 6oz is 170g...cos u didnt take into account density. eg. ON gold standard scoop is 70cc / 2.37oz / 32g...extrapolated 6oz is only 81g...so if 3 scoops of this would be 243g.
so that 6oz scoop given is probably correct, and the mass-tech powder is obviously denser...so nothing to worry about.
as for the scoop? they as in the shop gave? there is no scoop inside the tub?

The scoop comes with the supplement. When I was consuming 2000 the scoop was 5oz. With the xxxx, the scoop is 6oz. But for the recommendation, the fact shows 3 scoop per day for xxxx. xxxx 3 scoops is 1k calories, mass tech extreme 2000 contains 2k calories in 6 scoops. Theoretically, if i want to maintain 2k calories, I will have to consume 6 scoops right.

Roughly there 2000 6 scoops = 2050cal xxxx 3 scoops = 1080cal Precisely the concern for protein carb and fat. If I take 6 scoops of xxxx to get 2k calories, I will also put on twice the fat, cholesterol. But I try to consume as per what the body tells me. 2000 https://www.musclemaniaclub.net/masstech-ex...ame=mass%20techxxxx https://www.musclemaniaclub.net/mass-gainer...ame=mass%20tech
