Yes for 8.5j wide can still use 225 tires. I suggest you use that so can get much better tires rather than use 245 but then settle for not good ones. For 225/50/17, you can buy the Hankook V12 Evo 2 for under your rm350 budget. It's the best value for money tires now.

Still expensive. Used tire price should be no more than 50% of the new price no matter what condition. Many used tires of similar condition only selling around 40% or even less. If rm400, might as well top up a bit and get new V12E2.

Hahaha ok, coz I also had bought used tires (potenza) in similar condition (just 2-3 weeks used) at less than 50% of the new price and used them for 3+ years until finished. ☺️
