Admittedly, the world is cruel, men cheating and being cheated, deceiving and being deceived. In this corrupt world, someone may gain sympathy to his or her own advantage.
Nevertheless, there is happiness in giving than in receiving. There is no good solution to accommodate the homeless and unemployed nationwide. I imagine the charitable organization would need to educate and train the homeless in addition to shelter and food. And it would be a long term goal. Our individual help is limited. We may help the Uncle Cheah to find a retirement home, to apply for welfare assistance, or like the customers at KFC offering meals, or like the orginal poster Tham posting in bulletin board for attention from the general public.
