Anyone heard of  Portfolio Reconciliation team in HSBC?

Job Scope:
1. Ensure trade data is downloaded from ALGO into Tri Resolve on the correct day.
2. Reduce all pending breaks to zero by approving and applying break root causes.
3. Investigate all unmatched trades applying breaks and liaising with internal product areas to obtain confirmations etc.
4. Investigate and resolve MTM differences by liaising with Product control and external counterparties.
5. Create portfolio reconciliation summaries and communicate to Margin managers.
6. Ensure >90 day breaks are investigated and resolved.

Possible to work for a year and then jump to another department? or into the bank?

Update news :

I just received a call from HSBC ( 22.16pm 1 Nov ) regarding my status, everythings is successful and now she said only wait for background check.
Wow her accent ! i like ! American Style yo !  I'm in love 
She asked me everythings to make sure that i understand what kind of job that i will be doing and the pressure~
She was expecting that i will be working 1 or 2 years minimum~ I told her directly that i will be more than that, me and her had a good laugh   
I asked her did i success ? She said now only wait for background check...   
Yippi Yippi !!!!! I'm happy !!

Yes, its my first time applying for HSBC cyberjaya.
My highest qualification.....
SPM    couldnt continue my study due to my family problem 

but my working experience and my knowledge very ichiban !

  I dont know about that since on the interview day they did mention about background check require 1 - 2 week.
but my interview day was on 22 oct....
Today friday excatly 2 week.... ( but i called them before the person in charge of my applications is on medical leave for 2 days )

So to be honest, i also dont know... 
I asked her did i success get the job ? she told me that need to wait for background check, and the person in charge of my applications will contact me soon...

Received a call from HSBC regarding my background check.

Require number from first company i work... 5 years ago...    ( i tak ingat number ) try to find back my SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ago supervisor handphone number... i doubt they will remember me...

hmm If u even or in KLC u might see her. I might show u where she sit too.
Depends wat event u're dealing with. im in corporate action too.

I dont mind they investigate my background 

Not yet, she told me that she will be calling me again on monday to get those number, after that she will be sending email for medical check up and everythings 

hmm..4 - 1 currently. Boring days ~~ awaiting year end super duper heavy workload anxiously.been here about 1 yr +
