How do you manage those unreasonable feedback of 1 star rating from your buyers.
Even when you already did your best but like 11.11 was so high traffic, by informing your customers via whatsapp etc that the courier will experience high traffic.

Shopee allow back to back rating between customers and buyers, so i still do not have 1 star so far. both have equal sales.

i just send a long message to lazada, i notice a post from facebook saying the seller also experienced the same, i forgot to copy the link.
if i manage to spot it, i will copy.

anyway, did u complaint to their partner support? alot have did, but they don't keen to realise this is a problem in future.

this is what we think so too. I could just buy off a product from my competitor spending RM 10-15 and give 1 star each day.
and resell it in my listing. So in return i only spend RM 5 to rate people bad if i want.

Sad to say Lazada don't see this as a problem for seller. Our company has over 10k listing, we are already planning to move to Shopee.

Well, the buyer who rated us 1 star contacted us today, asking about some question about the product.
The product was not used at all he said so he want to know how to use it because the packaging was all written in English. and we checked the delivery time today, it only took about 4 days exactly to reach his place.
Our team answered the question to him to assist his queries about some products.

So after assisting him the product information, immediately our operating team asked why he gave us a 1 star rating and if there was anything unsatisfactory. He hung up immediately without saying any reason. I have done reporting to Lazada, but i feel they won't help us anyway.

my take on Lazada platform 

1111  high traffic  is no excuse  i think .  if you know high volume come  then be prepared !
i purchase  12  items  on 1111  day    and most items were delivered  in 2 to 3 days .  2 items  came in on the 4th day .
and the last item came in 5 days  ie on friday .  this one came with 4 free gifts  ...so happy  even  longer delivery time. how can i complain .  I think they already prepare for  this with the gifts !

i notice  some sellers  pack  and ship out  within the day of 11.11    .  So i guess they are Ready for  heavy orders .

i  always chat with Seller  especially if i need the product fast  ( to check his  response and commitment  ) or  if the product  has a expiry date .

here i notice some Sellers  answer the chat  very late  ...    like  5 hours ,      i expect chat to be answers in 2 hours  if its a working day .
some sellers  answer  fast even on  weekends . 
I feel this  chat response  shows on the Seller s  commitment  to his Shop . 
I expect  all orders to be ship  out  within  the day if the Order come s in before 12 noon. 

i always give feedback  for sellers to improve their performance.

I had  one order  two week ago ,  the Seller send me the wrong items  .  i bought  a wax  car shampoo and he send me a basic  shampoo ,
returning items is a hassle and time consuming  .  i just hope the  Seller get it right the first time

i had a order  3 months  , i bought  3  same  small electronic item .    one was  dead on arrival,
I  comment on the product  review .  4 times  and the Seller delete . the comments  every time .
Last week  i  make the review comment again ,  this time the seller chat with me and i told him about  the 1 faulty item
After some chat  he offered a refund .  But i  ask for  some product from his store  of similar value.  Deal was agreed .

Listen to your Customer  .  he is Number  1 .
dont worry about competition  ...

I only Shop in Lazada  cos  the experience  in this 2 year is great..

i wish to have customers like you. but sadly, in Malaysia not all customers are like you.

Even when 100% committed team was developed in our company.

We spoken with shopee yesterday, and will be prepare to move all listing there completely. today is the 9th day, we haven't got any unscrupulous customer rating yet from shopee. Bear in mind, Lazada has LEX, own courier service, but shopee doesn't 100% have it. So you can judge the flaw with Lazada system.

yesterday my shopee list increased to 300 item, today out 12 orders, but small stuff.
Lets see how it goes, my previous listing less than 100 only, but so far all customers are good and nice, both rate 5 stars each.
waiting to input another 500 this weekend. i am expecting maybe 1% bad review from unreasonable customers, but at least it is better than lazada system who doesnt care.

yes, but at least we can see the profile of the buyer and prepare for it, i actually seen some 2-3 star rating accumulating buyers after from over 20 purchases from my friend's seller platform, he cancel one of his customer's order when he found some comment from few other sellers commented they buyer like having absurd claims cannot receive within 24 hours for a state to state delivery or courier guy bad attitude.

and also we can know a genuine buyer profile, not from competitors who can act as customer and rate you bad.

just can't brain another issue.

more than 14 days customer want to return a product. usually cannot because the return and refund function cannot press after so many days if i remembered.

So to make good, because the customer is our regular. We asked her to return the item to us. and then we refund ourself.

suddenly Lazada refund for to her without asking us. there is no notification from Lazada whether we accept the refund or reject or not. usually there is. thsi time no.

I hear you bro. I wish i could do that. But as a public duty, i do not want shopee to monopoly. We have to support both side no matter how bad 1 side is.

If 1 side monopoly, they will input their own terms. Charges will be as they say.

Just like what Amazon is doing now. They know the data, now they produce their own things to fight the seller.

Another example is Grab vs Uber. Now only grab, they can minus or increase incentive whenever they like. They have the biggest market share.

1. Wrongly charged for shipping
2. Missed payment

Being in Lazada Group & Shopee Group, can see more complains in the Lazada Group. But in all honesty, if we're supporting for the sake preventing monopoly, Lazada doesn't get the tight wake-up slap to improve accordingly to match Shopee. They're just having price war now, which benefits the shoppers. Not sellers.

I was one of the earliest merchant to be invited by Shopee when they just setup in Malaysia. Lazada had a few years ahead of Shopee back then. I watched how my sales in Shopee slowly overtook Lazada & finally Shopee itself also overtook Lazada in terms of popularity in Malaysia. Unless Lazada revamp their Seller Center & payment system, I don't see how they're gonna recover unless they start throwing money to shoppers (but that is also temporarily only lol).

everything u say still persist. i got overcharged as well. but i fought for it.
Ah well, what to do. end of the day, it will become seller need marketplace platform more.

As long as there are service people there, i will continue to throw in every bug/fixes they should do.

If i incurr in my product, it will become higher price that marketplace.

Marketplace already winner in logistic price no matter how. because they got the quantity.
