Yes, during weekend the traffic quite smooth along the roads below dash since the construction completed and no point to ignore the time needed for ingress and egress of the Dash highway, especially when the township is not connected with dash interchange from pj side.

And now the elmina entrance is closed after the incident, left only 1 entrance causing traffic jam during peak hours

Traffic quite slow during peak hours at denai alam entrance. Can't imagine what will be when the township is completed

Not sure if you are working with SDP but your mentality is exactly the same as the developer. As what mentioned by others above, other developers willing to build ramps to connect their projects with major roads and highways to ensure the good ingress and egress to their townships, SDP just wait government initiative to do something.

Even Government approved DASH despite many against the highway esp residents fr damansara perdana, can't believe SDP can ruin it by not working with prolintas to build an direct interchange, the DASH is just beside the international school at denai alam but residents here have to go through kg melayu subang & causing slow traffic at the junction.

SDP have no choice but to build big recreation park and nice landscape to catch up with other developers. But if you compare with other projects in detail, you will notice how other developers put in more effort, eg flattening the land before building anything on it and have better landscape design. If you drive around Denai Alam and elmina, u will know there are a lot of uphills and downhills, not only that, the road design is very weird eg e-boulevard area. Another problem is SDP doesn't build enough park lots (some even none) for the recreation park which I don't really understand, this causing ppl park at roadside.

Guthrie is an outer ring road while Dash is connecting major townships. Similar case to SDP's another township, bukit Jelutong, which doesn't direct connect with the busy NKVE but connect with Guthrie instead.

I really hope SDP can improve their townships planning especially the ingress and egress because elmina location is quite strategic, it is close to PJ, Kota Damansara and the upcoming kwasa damansara.

For those who are not staying here, this is how bad the traffic congestion during peak, just to exit your taman also taking long long time

I never tried elmina east side after dash completion, I think it's just normal traffic jam cause there are many alternative roads. During the construction of dash, the traffic there can be stagnant during peak if you use subang bestari road

To Guthrie & jalan sg buloh which is connected to dash as well

Currently no other faster/ shorter road. All elmina green + saujana utama residents using this road. Another big township in puncak alam can access this road too when the road connected with elmina is open.

Well if you like your neighbour houses on the next street is much higher than yours or the main road is much higher than houses or there's a slope behind your house, then should be fine for you.

This morning 8am i saw the so call alternative way to enter Dash from elmina east side via Guthrie standstill all the way to jln sg buloh which link to kg melayu subang interchange

The township planning is no way near setia alam. The ingress and egress are a big issue. During my day off last week, I decided to go to Sakura lake in elmina green in the morning and I was shocked to see the traffic built-up from elmina valley roundabout all the way to elmina garden even with such low occupancy rate currently

The low occupancy rate and there are still many empty lands between elmina valley roundabout and elmina green should not cause the heavy traffic here, it's the design of access road. I'm staying near denai alam so I don't know it is this bad until I went to elmina green in the morning during my off day

Yup, since the road connecting eco and elmina opened, can't imagine when elmina start to build more houses at the elmina mall side. Those who bought deep inside of elmina will suffer.

I hope sime Darby can at least widen the road before building more houses.

I'm not using that elmina interchange, my guess is most cars want to turn right. While the denai alam interchange many cars want to turn left after crossing the Guthrie highway. I want to go to other Taman to have breakfast during off day also susah😓

This is why no entrance to Dash for PJ direction is a town plan failure for elmina

Water leakage is their signature issue, even different contractor for different phases, really don't understand why this happened

My off day today, not going to 1U or ikea, jz want to go taman nearby for breakfast at 8:19am also susah, I thought after 8am++ shd be ok...sigh

What's worrying is the current traffic condition is already so bad despite the schools and Kanopi condo are still under construction and there are many vacant lands around the elmina valley and lakeside mall. I doubt the proposed direct connection to dash will be sufficient, sime darby shd work with govt and kwasaland to upgrade persiaran atmosfera that's connecting elmina, U5 area and Kwasa Damansara.

Anyway, I think sime darby is quite smart to first sell the elmina green which is far away from the denai alam entrance/exit😅 Kesian the buyers
