That was unofficial support meaning if shit happens you deal with it.

Wondering how this will impact NV's chipset business; the only good nforce chipset was nforce2 for AMD the rest were quite bad and ppl only bought them for SLI.

If the Inq is to be believed NV got FSB + CSI license while Intel got SLI and probably other graphic technologies.
NV is threading on dangerous ground: once ATI is sorted out they will be pushed out of the AMD chipset/platform business while Intel is going all out on a GPU.

You'll be suprised to know Intel demoed the P965 with SLI when they launched C2D. ATI had just been acquired by AMD and were relegated to 2nd fiddle for the launch.
