Not sure if I'm at the right forum but here goes......

I'm planning to leave a blank canvas at KL Sentral as part of a public art installation, passer-by can freely add their fingerprint to the artpiece.

Has anyone done this before? Is there any website that can guide me through the process? or anyone I should contact?

You need to speak to the kl sentral management as well. Permission and all. And also expect the type of bypasser that will conteng the canvas instead of leaving fingerprints. There are few things to considered before doing this like why you do this and where is it going. By state that during the installation happening (signboard or signage beside the canvas) may guide public to interract with the installation.

Wuu, that's cool, but inside Petronas Gallery and out in public different procedure I suppose.

Tbh, I've thought about the people that might conteng on the canvas, and all I can do is put up a sign and hope for the best.
Will have some friends dropping by from time to time to "bait" for involvement, at least get something going.

What's the point of such installation? Do you want to raise awareness for something? Whatever it is, please don't make it in KL Sentral... it's already packed as it is.

Agree with above. You best check with KL Sentral management. Otherwise, they might take down your installation and you might get into legal trouble.
