My Huawei powerbank having function of supercharge. But when paired with standard apple cable it don’t give the fast charge. Hence I thought if using USB-Type C to lighting cable. But I only see the type C on the powerbank as input. I dun think so it is possible to charge via input right?[attachmentid=10096993]

HW supercharge is proprietary to HW only. It cannot even super charge other Androids too. Had tested on Note8, note9, one plus 5t. And you need HW cable too even for HW phones. It probably gives slight faster charging and definitely no supercharging for other phones

You can try SanDisk iXpand external flash drive. SanDisk got its own app for user to access the files from the flash drive. I have been using it for transferring media files and documents between PC and iOS devices. The downside is this flash drive quite expensive.
*
Not only expensive , transfer of files is miserably slow
I bought the first gen type. No idea whether current newer type had improve??

I found few online sellers selling US and UK set and unlocked by turbo sim..is there any possibility of getting trouble using that phone in Malaysia  and how about the warranty..does it cover by apple malaysia?
*
Avoid turbo sim as is inconvenient after a reset...tedious procedure to have it unlock again
Warranty - positive none here

Why they mention that warranty is covered by apple malaysia?
*
Lots of sellers are like that simply throwing up such statement. Am sure turbo sim sets won't be entertain here. Anyway many had suggested one write in first to Apple for warranty claiming before heading off to any service center. Apparently if accepted by Apple you would get some sort of reference number
Good luck trying to claim such foreign sets

Yesterday, I bought the original Apple adapter ( rm49 from macity ) for 3.5mm headphone. So far unhappy with it as the audio turned out poor with intermittent buzzing sound
I am using a LG earphone set ( my favourite one) . I will try later with my other Xioami piston and Samsung Note 9 unit

Thus, HK set from T&L
XS: can claim warranty in Msia (any other succesful cases?) but
XS Max: cannot claim warranty in Msia?
*
[QUOTE]

Officially all overseas set there is no warranty coverage here. This is Apple standard clause.
Claiming warranty is a mix bag, a hit and miss
Some said you need to write in to Apple first to have a reference number to claim here?
However if you buy from T&L they will handle the claims for you. Just send it back to their KL office at plaza amoda jalan Imbi

If you mean external drive, yes but iPhone OTG not so straightforward like Android devices. You need those external flash drives that have its own app to read the contents of the drive. You may check out SanDisk iXpand flash drive to know more how it works.
*
I had a 64gb ixpand drive - darn expensive and seriously not worth the money
Better and faster to connect phone to PC or Mac to transfer files
All transfer files goes to a single designated folder only
Transfer rate is unbelievably slow easily 5x or more slower than those standard SD cards

But I test with mine yesterday from 50-100% took longer 191minutes to compares vs XR just 77 minutes only.
Same QC 3.0 18W with 2.4A mcdodo type A cable.
*
It will be 2.5 hours on Apple original cable
Mine is 3.1A cable - sorry forgot what brand it is as box thrown away already
Is that m dodo that really good since you had always high praises on it. Unable to find it at my place so just settle for the China one

True. When I first read that the Max would have > 3K battery, guess I had high(er) expectation given that iOS does good battery management but it wasn't so. Had just enough to spare to make it back home.

What about the other Max users here? How's the battery life for you all?

Maybe it's the huge AMOLED screen but isn't it supposed to be more energy efficient?

Since at work have to use WhatsApp a lot, the drain was quite a bit, which about sums up my so called power use no games etc.
But then prior to Max, had a short 'affair' with the Note 9. Thinking the 4K battery would go some way, what a disappointment!  Maybe others have a different experience.

I am sure the XR will be quite long lasting.
*
I would say my ex ip8+ has a better battery life vs the Max
Infact battery standby drain is only excellent of you had the phone fully charged. I had tested and found at 80% charge and below drain is poorer averaging 4 to 5% over 7 hours standby
Vs my other Note9 there is no significant difference in actual usage. Of course the N9 battery capacity is larger

Nope...
I really wish that more people complain so that Apple would fix it..
sent before to mac city, they said they diagnose my phone, and everything is normal, so they just ask me to reset network, change password, restart restart and restart  vmad.gif
exactly, i upgrade from iphone 5S to XS now.. my previous 5S speedtest came out at least 40 Mbps, but my XS came out 0.5 mbps...so dissapointed with XS to be honest..
*
40 vs 0.5 - is a very big difference
I would say is definitely a hardware issue - sent in to another service center to assess??

Perfect transfer and worth every sen if such transfers are important. I suggest you disable first both phones any security login such as fingerprint, or pattern or face id

The LTE connection speed just happened again (not wifi this time) . Speedtest can’t even find a server. And when found, it can’t even load to test the speed.

My Ipad Pro 10.5 LTE beside the phone, just fired up and ran about 50mbps on the same network!

And again, I rebooted the phone, speedtest now can find the server, and ran half the speed.

This Xs max really sucks.
*
Why don’t you just send in to service center since is so problematic?
