My max suddenly freeze while i was trying to close the notification at lockscreen
Pressing power and vol buttons ( tried both) completely zero response
Plug in at power point still same?
Fedup with it i left it as it is until screen display shutdown. Finally i could switch it off and restart phone
My first time encountering such behaviour on iphone

XS Max support fast charging right but why it’s take too long to full 😅
*
No fast charging on supplied charger and cable ( is only slow charging)
You need to buy Apple PD fast charger and special C type cable too - these will cost you more than rm200
Or use alternative- faster than supplied default: macbook charger, ipad charger or 3rd party fast charger such as Aukey QC3. Plenty choices of 3rd party in market

just a quick check, is the iphone xs max u guys using now still using the physical simcard? or already can use the esim from any telco?
*
Esim to date only available from maxis
You need to request it for HuaWei watch not iphone
Officially not supported yet for iphone but it works for those who had it

too bad is not selling over here
i see...mean is still need to use the simcard and cant be dual sim tho
*
If you use esim for maxis the other simcard can be any other Telco - so is still dual sim. The esim requested under HW watch can be use as any other normal maxis simcard

Uncle, which ios version you are on? I'm on 12.0.1 and the phone froze twice this morning. Had to call the number from the other phone then only it self restarted. If this is not related to ios update, i'm sticking to this version. Else, need to update to latest one.
*
Latest 12.1

Been using XS for a month battery still 100 %
*
Mine 2 + month is still at 100%
However I felt my ex ip8+ has better battery life vs the Max. But is an insignificant point to me as the Max is secondary phone while Note9 is main phone

Oh wait Apple warranty is not international? 😥
*
Many sellers simply misled
Claiming warranty is a hassle - some had failed while some had succeeded

then why they say NO need turbo sim?
*
You need it again for resetting during firmware update and factory reset. Have a turbo sim card ready on hand
The seller had reset for you first - that is reason why he said no need turbo sim

Hi all,

Looking to buy the HK Set IPXSMax Gold Colour either 256GB  / 512GB (Model No. A2104  & Part No. MT762ZA/A 256GB / MT792ZA/A 512GB). Does anyone have a link or know anywhere where I can pick one up that is reasonably priced? Just really want that dual nano sim yo.

I also have a IPX Silver 256GB MY Set Non-Telco in Excellent Condition (i.e. Minor wear and tear due to use) with Apple Warranty expiring in 19-Jan-19 and with full box set for trade / sale to fund this purchase if anyone is interested.

Thank you.

Regards,
Kumar

So there is no international warranty. So do anyone experience any problem after purchase phone from oversea?
*
Some had claimed successfully while some had not
Is your risk buying foreign sets
However you are advised to consult first Apple website in case you need to claim locally

Can we trust DXO Mark?
*
All shots taken under controlled conditions and not a simple point/click condition
Just take it as a reference point only
I was amazed at previous rating of Sony Xperia S but ended up very disappointed with the camera. I was told only camera experts could realise the camera superiority!!

Which telco in Malaysia got e-sim already?
*
Only Maxis but officially unsupported yet
Some users had successfully used it - they requested for it under Huawei watch use

Not official? Not sure about that. Not using Maxshit.  laugh.gif I think many on this forum are on the Esim already.

You try requesting it for your phone and they will say is unavailable. So all will instead said is for the hw watch

future user reporting in, migrating from oneplus 6

is there any issues i should expect from this device?

If you are new to IOS it will be a completely different experience
You will end up loving or hating it
Personally I have both android and iOS devices
Given a choice to have only one to use it will always be y Note9 and not the XsMax

Some of you guys just unbelievable testing all sorts of cables and charger
Is it really that important a charging time difference of 15-30mins to spend up to additional rm200 n over??
i just use a cheap generic china cable with aukey qc3 charger to charge. it is definately faster than supplied default charger
And is there any definite proof battery strength will be longer with all such expensive cables and charger
