err... if the card doesnt have SCS sticker that means it is not under scanart i believe... coz i rma lots of hardware under scanart distributor and all have SCS sticker...

however it worth a try...

Without the SCS seal Scanart won't be dealing with the warranty. Galaxy products comes with 2 years limited warranty starting from the date the sealed is marked.

Well, I gave him 1 day time to solve this issue but after it, I tried to use the tornado fan running with full speed blowing the card and unfortunately, the problem still there. For me, the card is "cacat" and consider as faulty. I sms him asked for refund so that I can send back the card to him for rma.

Update:
I'd chat with sniper69 about this issue yesterday night. He told me that the card is in good condition with non overclocked when cod with ChinHong86 and he(ChinHong86) did not experienced any problem about the card. But from the card I got, it were overclocked extremely which the memory frequency is 900MHz (1800MHz). I doubt that he did overclocked it till "catat" and then sell this faulty card here, unfortunately I were his buyer.

I keep asked refund from him and he said that want to discuss with sniper69 as the card got problem but the question is sniper69 did mentioned that ChinHong86 did not complain any problem from him. So, he lied! And also he did not contact sniper69 about this issue but keep telling me that he want do that. So he lied again! So far he did not take any action about it yet or I should say that he DON'T WANT do anything about it, what a irresponsible seller!?!?

ATM, I dont want end up with nothing, so I asked sniper69 help me rma the card and I shipped it to him via pos laju(RM6.36) just now, hope it will reach his side tomorrow. And then, another funny thing is, I paid RM200 + 10 pos laju to buy this card but ChinHong86 tried to cheat my money with shipped it via Registered Delivery instead of Express Delivery which I already paid for it.

Here is the important point that you all need to focus on before posting any comment.

1. He did not told me the card got problem, he just told that the card need to use table fan blowing it.

2. I asked him to refund but he refused with the reason that he used up all the money and tried to push the responsible to the previous seller, sniper69 as the problem is there when he(chinhong86) got the card.

3. I paid RM10 for the pos laju, but he shipped via registered delivery caused I got the item few day later, end up with I cant sell off my XFX 6200TC and somemore got this faulty card.

4. He told me that he want to talk this issue to sniper69 but in fact, he did not do anything.

p/s: I'd asked the buyer whether the card got artifact as it running extremely and he stated it in good condition, refer to here.

About Galaxy warranty, try PMing jy14 and see whether he have any information about it as well. I heard from him that ScanArt Galaxy is offering 2 years warranty. But those that bought from LYP will only be eligible for 1 year due to the low price..Anyway, maybe you could PM him and see whether he could provide you with more info or not..

To my humble opinion, after having the card warranty

1. A working VGA Card after the warranty.
2. chinhong86 have 2 option:
a. send the "working VGA Card" + Some Compensation to gsan, if gsan is willing to wait & accept.
b. a full refund to gsan as soon as possible, if gsan do not want to have the VGA Card anymore since most people agreed that the VGA Card is Dead On Arrival ( D.O.A. )
3. chinhong86 can keep or sell the VGA Card again if (b.) is the option taken.

To gsan,
I know your feeling as i do get conned b4 & I do agree with u that seller should let the buyer know b4 hand that the Selling Items is in bad condition but with valid warranty.

Bcoz to me the card can claim warranty so claiming it to me is the 1st priority.
So that at least a working card is better than dead one.

God, wait for the card to come back from RMA and wait for the card to sell out again before refunding. This is totally nonsense.
IMHO, full refund now since the card is proven to be faulty on arrival.
You can see how irresponsible the seller is in this case, even Sniper69 who should be no longer responsible for anything had tried to help in clearing the matter and even helped on the RMA.
Saying you have used up the money is definitely not an acceptable reason. mad.gif
