Yes most probably. They are announcing 2 more games at BlizzCon.

WOW 2nd expansion and another title which could be Diablo 3.

I think most probably D3 is the next.Im wondering how it will turn out after Bill Roper left Blizzard North.

we all not sure diablo3 will be mmo or not.. but from what i heard is that Rob Pardo say that they will be focusing now on a MMORPG... dunno it's WoW or will be Diablo3 mmo

I want diablo3 single player and multiplayer, i dont care about the pay perplay.

Insanely Legendary game discontinued, doesn't make sense, i firmly believe they will come up with D3!!!!

I made a thread about Diablo 3 before, but seems like it has gone with the wind.

Yerp, yerp... Mostly after another expansion for WoW, then comes the Diablo III, or it could be WoD <~ World of Diablo! XD

i still wish it to be single player. IF MMORPG again we need to achieve no life status in order to get high tier items.

Wait SC2 come out 1st then only D3

A Diablo 3 MMO seems interesting but it is something that I hope won't happen. Especially not when WoW is still at the peak.

just dun change what is not 'broken' right guys?
maybe make it more 3D...better graphics...and sounds...

and especially the most important of all - which most if not all developer seems to neglect is the gameplay & storyline.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of rumours that Stracraft 2 is the next thing that's gonna be added to Blizzards list of great sequels. I do hope however that the mouse-mangling Diablo will ship soon (and be on a hybrid cd so it can be played on macs). And by soon I mean before 2010. We all know how deadlines mean nothing to them...

How can there be a sequel? i tot we killed off all the Prime Evils meh?

Sequels will make our powerful characters in the previous wasted because they didn't finish the job!

it cant be diablo 3 MMORPG else it will definitely cannibalise the market shares of WoW when player in existing WoW switch to diablo online.

Halo 2 publisher is Microsoft and they made it Vista only in the hopes of increasing
sales of their new OS.

Diablo 3 is Blizzard property and it has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Don't know is it i get wrong info for last time, I have read a story about the team who make diablo game already leave the Blizzard company and open own company, they had say if diablo 3 come out also not Blizzard's story.

it would be the same diablo i guess since the original developer team already left blizzard and form thier own company. The new company is making Hellgate: London

Seeing as they didn't change the core of Starcraft 2 I doubt they will change Diablo. They might just slap on a new 3D engine with the same Diablo gameplay. There might be minor changes.

Diablo is dead Baal and maphisto too so what now Diablo3: lucifer?

According to the Diablo novels author, it will be based on the latest Diablo novels called The Sin War Trilogy. Book 1 is already out for sometime.

Plenty more of stories related to Diablo. What about The Black Road or The Throne of Blood?

Just wait till Blizzcon 2007. There are strong hints out there saying that there will be news related to Diablo franchise during the event.

Btw, I just stumbled on this site today due to want to find out more info about the game that the team who 'created' Diablo had set up their own company to make - Hellgate : London.

I have been replaying Diablo II this past few weeks, with my friend (open battlenet, though) eagerly waiting for Hellgate : London. I am an avid fan of Diablo having continously playing it for more than five years, including the first 2 ~ 3 years of intensively playing it when it just came out. Hence I am very excited at the news of Diablo 3.

Just to stop my rambling, I just found out that something I discovered might be hints that Diablo 3 exists. For those who are die-hard fans of Diablo 2, they will surely have visited the Blizzard Diablo 2 official sites. In the Diablo 2 site, they have an Arreat Summit section which features updated news and a very thorough game guide about the game itself.

Since I re-visited the site about 3~6 months ago, I have noticed that they have stop updated the sites, since 2005. But recently, I noticed that they have been updating the sites again, even coming out with new patch v1.11 after a long time since v1.10.

The first time I encountered that, I felt it was funny for Blizzard to continue updating the site since the game is more than 5 years old already. Even if you go on Diablo 2 battlenet, the people have more than decreased by half.

After I saw this site, only did I realise that it is very highly possible that another Diablo is on the way, and Blizzard is doing all those to attract more people back to look out for Diablo once more. And the only reason for that ... ... ... Diablo 3.

The 3 brothers are not dead(i think), they are just being banished.

Since the world stone is gone, the barrier between hell and sanctuary effectively dissappears.

I do hope there's D3 though, whatever the reason is.

i dont think blizzard gonna make a fuss of it. non-ori d2 cant be played on the battlenet. thats cutting almost half of the fun that comes from d2.
