QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 30 2018, 11:40 AM) Some users are getting this as well. I checked my bill details ady. They credited back amount for Aneka Plus and Ultimate resulting in rm99 100mbps internet + unifi tv rm33 ish. 800mbps is too much, im hoping for 500mbps only, pun still belum sampai2. lazy to bug them. after 1jan then ill poke poke since email told me ill get it in 2018Good for you if they forget to increase back the price after you are Turbo-ed. So eventually you will be paying RM 129 (excludes GST) for 800Mbps. Wee. This post has been edited by pluginbaby: Nov 30 2018, 11:45 AM |

QUOTE(mmohdnor @ Dec 1 2018, 12:16 PM) Ok just got turbo'ed to 500mbps UnifiBiz from 50Mbps Unifi BizAdvance, my TL-WR841HP router can't even get more than 50Mbps on wifi. Haha. (100Mbps fast ethernet port only) Or buy ac55uhp second hand for cheap. It can do 500mbps on beta firmware. Not 500mbps on wifi but should be goodWith LAN Cat5e cable, I only got 40Mbps down & 95Mbps UP. Yup upload was super good. Silly. haha. What do you suggest for the router that can give me bang for buck? I'll be using it on a 2 storey shop lot, all on wifi N & AC devices with the HG8240 BTU. 200-300Mbps on wifi is good enough. I remember for below RM300, previously TS suggest Tenda AC18? Does it work right out of box for unifi with no hypptv (UnifiBiz dont have hypptv)? How about for below RM400? Thanks in advance! Quick check on lazada on 1st page's recommended routers : RT-AC1200G+ RM335 RT-AC58U RM389 RT-AC55UHP RM420 RT-AC1300UHP RM484 (out of budget just for comparison RT-AC66U RM471 (out of budget just for comparison RT-AC68U RM490 (out of budget just for comparison Tenda AC15 RM257 Tenda AC18 RM280 Archer C1200 RM240 Archer C7 RM344 Archer C9 RM424 DIR-859 RM329 DIR-867 RM380 DIR-878 RM429 DIR-825+ RM199 DIR-842 RM239 *Prices may change. Just a quick check on lazada on 30/11/2018 only. This post has been edited by pluginbaby: Dec 1 2018, 08:54 PM |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 6 2018, 07:56 PM) After 2 days of using 800Mb/s which I previously was on 500Mb/s, it seems that 500Mb/s is the sweet spot True indeed. Only a house filled with multiple heavy downloaders will utilize 800Mbps. 300-500Mbps should be good enough for a medium sized family800Mb/s doesn't make much difference as the maximum download speed from Steam, Battle.net, UPlay & Origin is about 70MB/s (560Mb/s) |

QUOTE(SzeMeng76 @ Dec 28 2018, 10:42 AM) need expert here to advise. Your adapter supports what 5ghz channel? If router broadcasting diff channel than the clients, then clients won't see it. Try korek inside adapter settings then check option to change region or channel. Not sure got or not. I'm using Asus USB AC68 dual band adapter. Yesterday I open my PC in sudden I cannot detect any 5GHZ wifi (previously can) Had Live Chat with ASUS, they have no solution too. They I was about to sending the adapter back to China for warranty (bought from Taobao during 11.11) I just simply click to change setting of router, change to wifi channel from auto to highest specific 161. then the 5ghz wifi can detect already. But i dont understand what happen? when i set back to auto, only 2.4ghz can detect.. pening. will be any problem i set my channel only at 161? If your adapter is locked to China region channels, then router u to use China channels. So far most new phones and laptop have global wifi support so they can use China channels as well. QUOTE(SzeMeng76 @ Dec 28 2018, 01:29 PM) [attachmentid=10148283] Should be due to router auto change channel lor. U force set channel in router . Do monitor behaviour on other devices as well. Worry later got some devices impacted by it. Hopefully all okayonly found this under driver advanced setting. its driver installation is direct install, dont have further setting software. But weird thing is 1st install and used it about 1 weeks, no issue. it came out sudden that I cannot detect 5ghz wifi yesterday. |
