Anyone terminate unifi on contract expiry date ?
Unifi told me my contract expired on 20 March 2019.
So i will make notice of termination on 20 Feb 2019.
Unifi said cannot. Must notify them after 20 March coz cant notify when still on contract. Is that true? Any experience buddy here ?

Shud this be pinned on the 1st page? Many have terminated exactly on date of expiry... 30 days notice is scare tactic. Man up! Threaten them on not leaving until the they agree to proceed with the termination. Get acknowledgement letter or some sort as proof that the staffs have received the termination submission on xxx time and date.

Alright! I will email them for termination on the expiry date.

Hello guys.

I just login to my unifi account today and notice that I'd been upgraded to 500mbps. So from my understanding (I'm very lame at all these technical and networking stuffs) in order to get the desired speed, my router and my adapter must be able to suppport the high speed right?

So here my router model. It is TPLink N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router model TL-WDR4300. I googled it specs and this shows up:

"Simultaneous 2.4GHz 300Mbps and 5GHz 450Mbps connections for 750Mbps of total available bandwidth"

Meaning maximum I will get from 5GHz is just 450Mbps right?

My adapter is DLink AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB AdapterĀ  Model DWA-182 which I cross-checked with the 1st page and it says it support until 500Mbps.

Both my hardwares can support the turbo right?

But I still get the old speed on Testspeed. Download 50mbps and upload 100mbps. What else that I need to do?

Thanks

Have to check BTU can support turbo speed anot

From first post

For the turbo speed use, you would want a BTU that can support the gigabit speeds which are the AN5506-04-BG, Huawei HG8240 variant, or the Nokia G-240G variant, or the Alcatel Lucent I-240-G. Anything else will NOT be able to support the turbo speeds
