Hey guys,
Just been turbofied to 500mb.
Planning to change my router from C1200 to something more capable.
Deciding between C2300 or the Blue Cave.
Is this a good option or there is something better below 1k price range?

C2300 should be good and have better hardware specs than Blue Cave. Otherwise, get the C3150 if it is available.

Thanks for the advice.
Will check the c3150 as well.
Much appreciated.

Edit.
For a double story house, will a mesh system be more suitable?
Currently I’m getting 4xx wired and 3xx with line of sight.
One floor below It will drop to 90-120.
With mesh will it be 3xx on both floors?

Double story house, the C2300 or C3150 should be sufficient. Mesh is of course better, so up to you.

These two models have wider coverage than the c1200 right?
Im asking as currently with c1200 i face some dead spots.
That is why wondering if mesh will be better suited or C2300 will suffice.

Yes, much wider. Very much wider. The C2300 will suffice with just a normal two-storey house.

Thanks bro..
Will get one of the two this 11.11.
Cheers. notworthy.gif

Troubleshooting are all on 1st page, 1st post, green text. Good luck.
No worries, just keep an eye out on good deals.
You will get the TP-Link VR1200V. Stock modem router are usually just basic, and there will be a lot of restrictions, so change to your own if possible.

Thats the plan..

Link to ad? You need to check if it is V2 or V1.
*
Which should it be?
Is there an issue with either one?

Yes, you need to ask the seller.
Yes. It does.
It should be V2. V1 is older and have older and no longer supported firmware.
*
Thanks for the heads up.
Will get that checked.
