My MCMC report lodged on 20/10 got a generic reply today with the its still in pilot project excuse. I reopened the MCMC complaint. Keeping my fingers crossed something will actually happen rather than excuses lol.

I just got upgraded to 800Mbps a few days ago and my Asus RT-AC55UHP is only able to support till 300-350ish max. so i went and bought a D-Link DIR882. it does get to 800Mbps if speed testing to the local servers. but i find that it reboots every now and then, sometimes half an hour , sometimes an hour or 2 , sometimes can stand till 4-5 hours. I updated my firmware to the latest one, redid everything, still the same. also, did some tweaks such as turning off the Smartconnect, adding a fan to blow it even though it didn't seem like a case of overheating, still the same. so I decided to call D-link support and they said they need to troubleshoot it first before advising further, but i need to be with the router. will call them again tonight when home. hopefully its just a router issue and not something to be expected with the Dlink router, its stopping me from experiencing turbo unifi to the fullest.

Got turbo-ed to 300mbps on 24-Nov (sat), straight away I log on to live chat to complaint about my old BTU (Huawei HG850a) not supporting the new speed. The CS confirmed the BTU is not on the supported device list, file a case

TM Technician came knocked on my door next day on a Sunday 8:20am!!! Replace the BTU as well as a new  DIR-842 router.

Now I am 300mbps happy.

I am upgraded to turbo 800Mbps. BTU (Alcatel I-240 GP) is able to support gigabit.
Wired PC speed is download speed  500-800Mbps, upload speed 170-200 Mbps.
I am using Asus RT-87u router, connected to BTU using Ugreen Cat 6 cable ,but my wifi speed (same level as router) even on 5Ghz is subpar, download speed 90-180Mbps, upload 120-200 Mbps. 
What is the possibility of the low wifi speed?

Using ASUS RT-AC88U. Will have to check the short cable between the BTU and router. The BTU model is AN 5506-04B which might or might not be able to support gigabit speed. The router to PC cable is a few years old so will upgrade them regardless since they are cheap.

Wired and wireless 5ghz exactly the same..about 100mbps.

Ok just got turbo'ed to 500mbps UnifiBiz from 50Mbps Unifi BizAdvance, my TL-WR841HP router can't even get more than 50Mbps on wifi. Haha. (100Mbps fast ethernet port only)
With LAN Cat5e cable, I only got 40Mbps down & 95Mbps UP. Yup upload was super good. Silly. haha.

What do you suggest for the router that can give me bang for buck? I'll be using it on a 2 storey shop lot, all on wifi N & AC devices with the HG8240 BTU.
200-300Mbps on wifi is good enough.

I remember for below RM300, previously TS suggest Tenda AC18? Does it work right out of box for unifi with no hypptv (UnifiBiz dont have hypptv)?

Oh and LAN i managed to get 430mbps instead of wireless which maximum is 320mbps.....
dell notebook and its i7 with dual band ac wireless....
15 meters roughly....

Wow, just because its wireless it drops about 100mbps for c3150 

same notebook gets 433mbps on LAN.... yes its T4U.  wow means wireless can get 300 above is good already.....  i thought c3150 can achieve 400mbps for wireless haha....  so like c7 and c9 will be slower?

Test using Unifi speedtest website I managed to get :
LAN (cat6) = 320Mbps++
Wifi AC = 150Mbps++

Saw several posts about AC55UHP has beta firmware so I tested that.
The firmware worked well.
LAN (cat6) = 440Mbps++
Wifi AC = 150-300Mbps++

With Ookla Speedtest on Starhub Singapore also about the same reading as above.

Yay ... but still not maxed out till 500Mbps    .. hehe. 

Latest bill I got recently still same amount like before : RM274.55 with all SST in.

Just recently bought my ASUS RT-AC86U from Taobao and set it up with my unifi credentials. However, I cannot seem to go past 300mbps (on WiFi 5GHz - I have a 500mbps Turbo Plan). Basically the wireless speed is the same as my old TP Link AC1200. I have tried everything and yet I still cannot get something closer to the 500mbps I am paying for :'( No issues when connecting with the LAN cable and no issues with my upload speed (consistently 90-100mbps) ... hope someone can help me.

Same situation as me. i've 500mbps. Bought Asus AC5300 router (retail RM2100). Tested using 5Ghz but also can't pass 300mbps even tested near the router. & of course using LAN cable can easily achieved 500mbps. I thought that after upgrading from Asus AC-68U (retail RM800) router can get a bit more speed with WiFi, but well, no luck. Even Top 3 fastest router in the world (as of right now) can't  get pass 300mbps speed. weird huh?

Max download speed via wifi 5ghz just getting 350mbps MAX, though very rare. normal just 250-300 mbps

sure at your location, more now change to digi.... hence speed getting slow and slower...
both no 2 and 4 are same with me... no 2 mostly go to up 350mbps but no 4 can go up to 520mbps i can get...normally around ~450mbps...

both test - router just in front of me around 1 m....

TM technician just came to my hse to replace the BTU. However, upon checking it seems that my Asus AC55UHP LAN can only get 360Mbps. When he change the router to the TP Archer C1200 then the LAN can get 500Mbps. Is there any setting in AC55UHP on the LAN speed?
