It mentioned that "my unifi will be upgraded to TURBO by Dec 2018 at no additional charges. Please update your email at unifi.com.my"

What I do have to update? my current email address? If it's my primary email do I still have to change it?

Do they provide modem upgrades as well? I'm still using the 2 old silver box

My connection suddenly become unstable.

That was a old BTU it doesn't support gigabit Ethernet, your BTU need to be replaced.

I thought Unifi users with unsupported BTU will be turbo-ed around 2019 instead? lol

anyone on ip range 42.xxx.xxx.xxx, can you try to perform speedtest to japan (tokyo/tsukuba) and singapore (singtel)?

because i am having a very slow dowload speed less than 500kbps to these servers, but local tm server is still full speed.

already contact tm, reset port and the issue is still persists.

just some update, pretty much confirm it is ip range 42.x.x.x issue. 

As i keep resetting the ppope session to get other ip range. And now with ip 219, the network traffic to other oversea server is working correctly.

it seems like they mess up the international routing in ip range 42.

by reset the pppoe session, either reboot the router or press the reconnect WAN button in router web interface.

not necessary 219, i think any other ip range is fine beside 42.x.x.x

make sure file a complaint to tm, so they know some users are having this issue. otherwise, they will just "buat xtau"and ignore it.

same with you 42 ip got half year ald now i reboot more then 50time ald

still can get other ip range, but very low chance.

just like gacha in mobile game, the chance to get rare card and item is only 1% or less than that lol.

i think it affected all ip range start with 42.

Got turbo-ed to 300mbps on 24-Nov (sat), straight away I log on to live chat to complaint about my old BTU (Huawei HG850a) not supporting the new speed. The CS confirmed the BTU is not on the supported device list, file a case

TM Technician came knocked on my door next day on a Sunday 8:20am!!! Replace the BTU as well as a new  DIR-842 router.

Now I am 300mbps happy.

The DIR-842 router should appear in your next bill.

The rm53 is charged if their visit is because of your own equipment not being able to support their service, so "not TM's problem".

So, if you follow their "logic", changing the ONU is their problem so FOC, but changing the router is due to your problem since the router belongs to you!! So they charge you rm53 for the visit. And if the problem is yours, and they replaced your router to solve it, then they either charge you for the new router (I think rm300 or so) or you get 2 years added to your contract!

So I suggest you go clarify...
