Does anyone have any problem with their stock DIR-850L router? Mine went crazy yesterday and my devices weren't able to find the wireless SSID and couldn't connect. Tried wired connection but there was no internet connection, the internet LED on the cylinder was orange instead of green.

I also couldn't log in to the router as admin for some reason, says 'invalid password' even though I've been logging in to the thing using the same password that I set before all fine, using the default password that's written on the sticker under the cylinder also didn't work.

So I used a needle to factory reset the router, set the PPPoE stuff up, and wireless and internet connection is working again. Restarted the router, tried logging into it and it gives me 'invalid password' like before.

Is this thing broken? It's only been about 3 years and it's never acted up like this before.

Hi guys, I'm moving to a new location but TM customer service say that the port on my new location is already full and put me on the waiting list.

Usually how long is the waiting period? Is there any way to make them install the new port faster? Customer service said if I can bare the cost, then it will be faster x.x'
Or should I resort to maxis fibre instead since time is not available there?

guys, my current 50mbps upgraded to turbo 500, since contract dah habis, can recommend a bit which othe telco can offer reliable fibre like unifi?

I've posted this in the router thread but got no response so I was wondering if anyone here been tho the same problem or able to assist.

I am using Unifi Turbo-ed to 300 Mbps. BTU using Huawei 8240. So, happily changed my router to Archer C6. But after trying to config around, the max speed I could get is around ~120 Mbps max for WiFi (Tested on Lenovo X280 laptop and iPhone XS). Often than not it's below 100 Mbps.

LAN Cable from BTU to router I'm using CAT 5e. Are they any config that I've to set in order to reach near to 300?

Location of test: Right beside the router and BTU running on 5Ghz.

When they implement quite easy to just up the plan, they happy to upgrade you even if you're in contract without any penalty (more money ma).

If router is still ancient L7-N-R2000 and got turboed already will TM replace FOC without extending contract? I know BTU will replace, but I think router won't, or need to extend?
