i don't think it's something about jap culture. probably even they streamline the supply chain for an item, take the wire harness for example. It may still unable to justify the cost delta of having different wire harness. that also taking the consideration of managing inventory and supplier negotiation sort of stuff. Being a profit oriented company like perodua, i'm pretty sure they do think about it.

and that's why they have different model trim ma, purposely make a gap between X and Advance, else everybody go buy X then advance model eat sand already.
*
I get what you mean, wire harness is just one example. An obvious example would be Premium X and Advance Steering wheel. Instead of wrapping the Premium X steering with leather for Advance model they used a different model altogether, hence if they want to be cost effective why do this.

Different trim model can be done by omitting certain features.
I've read an article somewhere that car manufacturers actually make more money by selling spares than from the cars itself.

Hypothetically, if Bezza was made modular and I want to "upgrade" from Premium X to Advance by buying parts later, the total cost would be far more expensive than buying Advance straight away.

The most important upgrade that I wish for my Premium X is to be able to add VSC. Alas its just a dream for me....

Sorry for the long post... Cheers...

I was offered an add on from the Perodua Bezza Gear Up line worth RM150. Which is a better option out these options?

-Chrome Window Garnish (RM145)
-Chrome Scuff plates (RM140)
-Luggage tray (RM120)
-Coil Mats (RM140)
-Hood Insulator (RM72)
-Door Visor (RM150)
-Sun Shades (RM85)
-Anti Theft Bracket (RM130)

In my own opinion, I think the anti theft bracket is the best choice, advice me if I'm wrong. As it gives the slight peace of mind. I understand that if someone intends to steal your car, there's only so much you can do, and you can make it harder/difficult for them if they try.
*
Myself gotten these and I recommend
-Luggage tray (RM120) Original one have cutout for the net hooks.
-Hood Insulator (RM72)
-Anti Theft Bracket (RM130)

The door visor quality is good. Until now still can hold up from scuffing but the adhesive tape use is useless ..

I see, I was wondering about the luggage tray as well. If buying aftermarket, I wonder if there'll be any difference.
Regarding the anti theft bracket, I thought it was quite important as car theft these days are getting more rampant.
Just one curious question... pardon my newbness, how to check if they have installed the bracket? Is it obviously visible?

Thanks!
*
You can compare between the 2 and be an informed customer. AFAIK, the aftermarket boot tray there's no cutout for the net hook but I may be wrong.

The anti theft bracket saved my friend's Bezza from being broken into. We can see the rubber seal portion on the door window slightly undone probably where the perpetrator use a metal hook to open the door lock mechanism.

You need to remove the door trim to be able to see the anti-theft bracket. Cheers.

Had a flat tire I didn't realize and spoilt a tire by driving on the sidewall..
Gonna change the Bridgestone ecopia to continental cc6.
Got 2 to try during the 9.9 sale on lazada.
Will have one ecopia with abt 50% thread wear left for any grab members here who may want it..
I'm gonna throw it away anyway (leave it at the shop)
Tire will be at Taman Midah, Cheras within the next few days when the tire seller makes an appointment on when to change..

Or if u want a new 2 year old ecopia spare tire, u can pay me rm xx and pay for transferring old tire to spare rim, incl balancing and wallah..

Otherwise, its just gonna age longer as a spare tire anyway..

Luckily my son was with me when we had the flat..
So I made him change it as a kemahiran lesson..
Or u can call it child labour..
Lol

I've been contemplating getting TPIS installed but never get round to doing it. Still undecided which model to get. Internal/External sensor? Small/Big monitor?....

I been putting it in the same pocket since i got the car 3 years ago and it is only now happening to me. Could it be the battery in the key is weak or something else???
*
Most likely. I've made it a routine to change the battery every 6 months. If you want to confirm its the battey, try to measure the voltage of the battery.

Hey bro I see the key have no keys to open it up, do you have to force it open to change the battery? Scared I break it.
*
Remove the spare key and you can see the slot to pry open. (Tip - Use non metal tools to pry open). Use good brand lithium battery. Good luck.

Hi all! I have few questions need to ask, soon i will be getting a new bezza biggrin.gif

Which part of soundproofing is sufficient and essential for bezza? With reasonable price. I am thinking of getting hood insulator, door comfort & vibratile from SC. I am open to any other options.

What other things that need to take care for new bezza to prevent other common problems?
*
From SC only the Hood Insulator is good, Get Vibramat(from FB) for the door.

My 2 cents worth of recommendation from SC,
- Anti-theft bracket(friend car saved from being broken into)
- Luggage Tray
- Cabin Filter(High Air Flow) to be used together with stock paper filter)

Cheers...

Should be doable. I've added Steering Audio Control panel on my Premium X with the help of the kind folks over at the Axia thread.

Just got my new bezza X. Yessss.

Just wondering the facelift grille holes for air so big gap. Scared tiny rocks will hit the a/c radiator.. anybody have install mesh grilled on it to prevent such things happen??

Also tyres come with 175/55/r15.

Thinking to change to 185/55/r15 after reading thru all the comments.
Contemplating between the xm2 or the ps3.

500km first day wack to Melaka for some cendol.

160km/h max. Cruising at 100-130km/h very very impressed. But cornering aiiiyooo cannot Tahan Liao.
Wind noises is bearable and still getting to used to on initial pickup to overtake.
Engine noise very quiet compare to my old saga sv edition.

Stock radio can connect Bluetooth and connect with Spotify at ease. Just wish this stock radio could show the title of the music its currently playing instead of “music” sahaja written on it
*
AFAIK, stock tyre size should be 175/60R15.
185/55R15 is the best size but not many choices/expensive compared to 195/50R15 or 195/55R15.

Those interested in doing the Steering Audio Control mod can look here for the parts required. No vested interest with the seller just sharing.

Agreed. I also took the x version. Still trying to find a way to DIY the steering wheel. But scared I messed it up. Other than that I’m  totally happy that I do not have the stop idle eco thingy. Drove my sister Myvi for one week and it was really annoying.
*
Bro, don't worry about messing up the Steering Audio Control mod. All the spares available online are plug and play unlike when I did the mod..

Bought one HELLA Midnight Black Twin Horn on shopee 7.7 sale few days ago. Already have the relay.

What’s a reasonable installation fees charged ( the wiring work ) on a Bezza?
*
Buy a horn wire harness + socket adapter to take advantage of the new horn. No splicing required.

Hi guys, anyone here knows how to install HELLA snail horns with relay for Bezza?
*
Get one of this and another horn terminal connector if you don't want to splice/cut your original wiring.

Bro, can you let me know what are the things need and how to do the installation.

I scare later wrong do then got problems  unsure.gif

Please help me with this, thanks.
*
If you don't want to do any splicing of the original wiring, do also buy Denso Horn connector. For proper installation, need to remove partially the front Bumper RH side and remove the RH headlight. Get the shop to replace for you when you buy the horn if you're not sure.

Connector to connect to Original horn connector.

how exactly to install this from a-z? i think many here not technical ppl.. with video guide is appreciated biggrin.gif
*
Done my horn mod 3 years ago. With the wire harness + Denso horn connector, most part will be plug and play. The only difficult part is mounting the new horn.

IMHO, if not technically inclined, just get the parts and get the shop where you buy the horn to install it together. It won't cost much anyway.

As far as I know, the factory installed Sahara-X tint is only security film and not solar film, so the figures should be pretty low. I recently just got some pretty affordable solar and security tint applied to my Bezza at Raytech. Couldn't stand the heat anymore when there's direct sunlight.
*
Correction, there are 2 layers of film. Solar and Security Film(Door Windows). My advice if you want to replace. Only peel off the solar film and leave the security film in place.
