For GPU, Apple now is moving towards the eGPU thing. More bucks to spend. doh.gif

Actually mostly gaming requires eGPU, else normal task even for video or photo editing, the built-in graphic card can handle the job also.

Previous mac mini with dedicated gpu received many complaints regarding problems due to gpu. Removing dedicated gpu would reduce if not eliminate this issue. By the way current intel integrated gpu is powerful enough to drive 4k display. If you want to use mac mini for rendering, then there is external gpu support.Mac mini now have a ‘pro’ price. Sigh

To be fair one thing major upgrade is the full line-up of MAC mini are all SSDs based so the price will sure be up. IN addition the processor is also different now. Last time MAC mini always use the processor from older MacBook which is dual-core only.

Similar to MacBook lineup, MAC mini has thunderbolt 3 port so it can use external graphic card for added capability.

Min 256gb for your device to be useful.
