Hi guys,

Recently I’ve just bought an iphone 11 for my wife and I’ll be using her XS Max.

Will need some help transferring all data (not only whatsapp) from my Oppo R9S (running on Android 6) to the new phone including but not limited to messages, contacts, photos, screenshots, videos, especially whatsapp images in my photos rclxub.gif

I do know about the ‘move to ios’ app but also read alot of negative comments about it in the app review so am not too sure whether it really works or not sweat.gif

Another issue is with the transfer of whatsapp chat history... Some googling around leads me to this app called backup trans... It seems to work from the feedbacks but I’m really not that tech savvy to be able to do it myself hence would need some help out from fellow forumers here rclxms.gif

Anyone here knows how to do it (especially the chat transfer)??? I don’t mind if you use backup trans or not so long as able to get the job done... Also will need help to transfer messages contacts etc as well. PM me price or reply here if anyone knows how to do it, we can arrange for a meet up and cash on the spot once done thumbup.gif

I don’t mind if it turns out the process is really simple, because I simply don’t have the know hows.. Btw I stay at PJ area yea smile.gif smile.gif

You can use move to IOS. But that’s only limited to messages contacts and few stuffs.

For backup trans, it’s very straightforward, no need bother paying for guidance.

It’s all there after paying for the license.

Not straightforward if whatsapp files are crypt12 .

my bad. i assumed all androids would be the same.

i switched from note 8 to iphone.

so, thus it mean data backed up with crypt 12 cant use backuptrans?

It worked eventually. They separate the steps into different pages. Got to dig a little more before starting the process.

can backup trans transfer chat as well as the media (video/files/audio)?

Open WhatsApp, then go to "Setting > Chats Setting > Chat History > Email Chat".
Select the conversation you wish to send to your iPhone, then a pop-up window will appear and ask you whether to transfer WhatsApp messages with media files or not. Choose one of the option and then go to the next step.Then restore it on iOS.

Yup. Thought it was quite expensive but so many info from WhatsApp group chat and important starred message so just transferred it
