No they can't. You don't get how this work. Is not that they want to end the show. THEY HAVE TO end the show because the writers are on strike. They can't just go hiring other writers because all of the writers are part of the same union (The Writers Guild of America). To be a writer you just have to register. So the union want better pay for the writers and the tv companies are reluctent to give in. So the stike is a protest until their demands are met. This means no more shows. Heroes included... The last strike lasted 5 months. We don't know how long this strike will last.
