Heroes is an American science fiction drama television series, created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006. The show tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realize they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind.[1] The series follows the writing style of American comics with short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc. Even with small story arcs that move the story forward, Kring said "we have talked about where the show goes up to five seasons".

When the series premiered in the United States, it was the night's most-watched program among adults aged 18-49, attracting 14.3 million viewers overall and receiving the highest rating for any NBC drama premiere in five years.[3] On October 6, 2006, NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly announced Heroes had been picked up for a full season,[4] and on January 17, 2007, Reilly announced Heroes had been picked up for a second season.[5]. The second season of Heroes will consist of 24 episodes,[6] and the first season of new spinoff Heroes: Origins will include 6 episodes.

here is the hole. see in the alt future hiro claims he stabbed sylar, but sylar regenerated, so he cant save the world. but this was contradicted later when clarie didnt die, so sylar cannot regenerate as he doesnt have the power. which in turn allows hiro to stab him and save the world. so in a whole the alt future cannot happen, as clarie is saved

no in that episode, hiro said he regenerated.

we learn that

a)
-hiro cant kill sylar because he can regenerate
-means that the cheerleader wassnt saved
-boom~!

BUT,later we know that (still in the alt future, same timeline)

b)
-clarie wassnt killed in the alternate future, shes presumed dead
-so the previous claim that slyar can regenerate is wrong
- which means hiro can kill sylar and the world can be saved

so yes future is rewritten which means that the events of a) cannot happen. so the whole alt future should not exist at all. thats the hole...

Actually the way the Claire arc guy flies is different from Nathan.The new guy is like ghost kind of flying while Nathan's more like superman with that cool cloud forming a circle thingy when he goes into turbo mode..
