Not cure.. Mohinder's blood contains antibodies that binds/inactivates virus (by the virus's protein envelope). A real cure would require the infected victim to develope/produce their own antibody against the virus.. Fail to do so any lingering virus will multiply again.. This was hinted with Molly's need of more than once transfusion/injection. This would means also that the Haitian may have a relapse unless his own body's defenses kicked in...

Any exposure to foreign body in the system (this includes proteins/venom/or toxins or any chemicals) have the potential to trigger antibody production.

Mohinder maybe equalvalent to a horse/sheep/rabbit/chicken used in anti-venom production, but with a phd degree. Mutants... each person is essentially a mutant (so is cancer cells) in relation to others.. with the exception of clones, twins and other division of one zygotic embryo.

it is unbelievable that Takezo Kensei was not wounded before meeting Hiro, even nicking one of his fingers.. unless his "special ability" needs an arrow piercing his heart ... a.k.a Highlander style... quality of writing has definitely dropped in the 2nd season

unlike moon eclipse (like one last month) ... sun eclipse has a very narrow shadow (shadow of moon) on earth.. Therefore if people in the ecilpse and in that time point triggers it.., areas near Japan like China/Korea and maybe SEA countries like Malaysia maybe also effected if it is in the moon path.. So.. unless around that time many Gaijin Portugese/English/Belanda/Arab on the trading route... There should be way way more "Asian Special people".

p.s. Time of peak of sun-ecilpse (based on one time point GMT) differs from areas to areas.. it is the shadow of the moon moving across earth surface.. Moon ecilpse has a fixed time (GMT) in all areas able to observe the moon, because the whole earth shadow covers the moon

plot holes plot holes... at least half a dozen people saw Peter (therefore his death/ his mother/or others looking for him in the sea... fruitless)... unless Haitian wipeout all the witnesses minds and invent some way Nathan made it to the hospital...
