From your picture, it looks like a Taiwan Version, 'cos got Chinese Characters as main description. but I may be wrong.

I bought a R4 + 1 GB Micro-SD card for RM 140. I don't know whether that price was considered cheap or not. I bought it from a shop at Holiday Plaza JB.

wah so cheap!!I also go to holiday plaza..because I go to JB 3 times a year.My favourite shop is Funway..but don't know why there is two.They are selling stuff kinda cheap like the airfoam pouch of RM 10 , fm radio for RM 20 and much more..I hope you can tell us the shop name although I already have a R4..just wanna buy another micro SD..=P

I don't know if it's cheap or not la but I bought a Kingston Micro SD 2GB for RM89.....in Jusco 1U.

Hey guys~~ Is there such a thing as Chinese R4 and an English R4, I check the website stating there's firmware download for English, Chinese and Korean, So, if i bought a Chinese one, can I change to English ar? Is the thing firmware locked?

The interface is in chinese. check the back of the box if it's in chinese then it's chinese version. If it's english, vice versa. There's no difference, only the language. I would prefer to get the english version because i suck in chinese.

So far, the only fake R4 is what has been found. The good thing, it is easily spotted cuz of a few factors:

1. No Micro SD logo on the box at the bottom right corner.
2. Doesn't seem to have a slot on the R4 cartridge.
3. The 2 GB sticker is obviously not available with the original one.

Don't ban me, just listing out the factors. Very sorry if i offended anyone...
