How can i join the league?
Do u guys do your own car setup? I have been practising alone on the same track offline after the online race just now and the best i can get down to was 2:09, which was still a few seconds off the pace!!

My realfeel settings are
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=3300.000000
SteeringDamper=5000.000000
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000

Rfactor settings
Force = -100%
Effect = Low

my wheel is logitech momo ffb

what are you guys' settings?

Thanks a lot for the tip bro. I am going to test the ffb settings these few days.

I got a problem in the car selection. For Eurocup2006 i have no problem but for rF3, it seems like i dont have enough funds to get any of the cars!!

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Jun 23 2007, 12:59 PM)
Lee, ure already in the league! Just confirm the car selection for the Megane and the rF3 category as in post #2. And if you want a custom skin, me or Izznatta can do it for you.

AFAIK, we do our own car setup and we share it on track. Usually the Dedicated Server is on 24/7 but is currently down and thanks to Redline (madnoren), he is already on top of it.

We share hotlaps replays too...just to know how to drive around the track...When ure on track, u can always jump to another driver's view and see how they drive and all. And personally i practice alot...will try to fix my mistakes.

First i calibrate and set my ffb in the logitech software....my setting is here...

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=12163673

This ctrls the main ffb of the wheels...Then the ingame setting should be set to 100 strength and effect is always full or u'll miss most of the little2 ffb that can make big difference in the feedback on your driving.

Finally, then i adjust the realffb setting. Be observant while u drive of things like braking, cornering, bump and even during slide's feedback....and adjust them accordingly.

MaxForceAtSteeringRack=3300.000000 - The higher the number the less force acting on the steering rack...i use negative value for the megane coz of its steering axle position. But keep the ingame strength to positive value 100. Only change +/- in the realffb.ini

SteeringDamper=5000.000000 - This setting should be ok...if youre not getting enuff ffb over kerbs or bumps, jack up this one, max is 11500.

FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000 - realffb is just an addition to the rfactor ffb which give extra ffb of the forces acting only on the steering rack. If you set this to 100, then things like engine vibration will be gone. I have it set to 75 of not 85...personal preference...

I think 50% of online racing depends on ur connection stability...its like ur engine...u lost ur connection, u kenot drive...unfortunately in malaysia we are a the mercy of screamyx and in my case, the weather...LOL

my nick online is maranello...but i got dc-ed few laps into the sprint race...check post #1 for season details and go to www.malaysiansimracer.com and check our rules and regulation....thats extremely a must.

Dzariq...sure mate!

anyone has this problem of Rfactor taking up 99% of your pc resources and the game feels lag when there is HD activity? Am not sure if its the game or after i installed one of the mods that caused this. Anyone had such experience before?

My rig is:
AMD64 3000
1Gb RAM
256 X800 Pro
300Gb Ide HD

FYI, i am using the "loader" to play this game.....ahem....is this a cause?

I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled back with only the necessary mods installed....i.e..Mugene, Gp97, Brianza, Birmingham, realfeelplugin and Zolder. The processor % has dropped to below 10% now.

Before that i have installed so many add-ons and mods i myself also confused.

troubles come in pair!!

First, my X800 decides to give up now. Not sure what is happening but i am seeing all kinds of artifacts on the screen now, maybe the cooling is failing or the card itself is screwed! i can even see artifacts when booting up now.
secondly, one of the front long plastic " black screw" to clamp my momo black is missing. Anyone got one to spare?? i am willing to buy it from you.

Yes. Will take note.
Anyone who chat during race, fine Rm10.

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Jun 30 2007, 01:55 AM)
I cant stress out more about the importance of reading the rules and regulations time after time, just to remind ourselves.

We can easily forget what to do and whats not while having fun racing online. But with practice and take heed of advice from fellow racers, we all can have fun plus be happy.

Just a quick reminder next time around....

Absolutely no chatting, doesnt mean chatting per se but one liners like 'gtg' or 'wow'...nothing....no msging so to speak.

The main reason is that it is soo distracting.

I tried it just now in the server, not so like the layout personally, 3 chicanes, 1 U-turn and the surface is kinda slippery!

I try playing with the "Look Ahead", when i set it to "0", i get smoother framerates.
