Alonso penalised and pushed 5 grids below and Mclaren will be deducted points should they win any for tonights Grand Prix.

"The actions of the team in the final minutes of qualifying are deemed prejudicial to the interests of the competition and to the interests of motor sport generally," said the stewards in a statement addressed to McLaren boss Ron Dennis.

Also swept aside was Alonso's feeble excuse that he waited in front of Hamilton for a further ten seconds because he was checking whether the correct tyres had been fitted to his car.

"The stewards find that he (Alonso) unnecessarily impeded another driver, Hamilton, and as a result he will be penalised by a loss of five grid positions," added the statement.

I have checked the manual but it doesnt say much about troubleshooting network problems or the configurations we can change for the network settings.
I have also browsed through the rfactor technical forum, only 1 case came close like us and it happened because the person was choosing the wrong connection type in rfactor. Maybe we should all switch back to 56k modem setting? Currently many of us are using ISDN setting i suppose?

Contacted them already, under investigation.

My partner having the same problem, continous download & upload, and suddenly session timeout.

For home user, its just like your ADSL light OK but sometime browsing "pause" or session timeout few seconds and then back to normal after that.

After discussion with the partner, we are going to relocate the server to Cyberjaya or Brickfields datacentre. Terminating the Subang services soon.

Loon, have u check the manual already? Even the old Pentium 1 can host rfactor dedicated.

What is the server running on? Windows? Unix? Maybe can request the administrators to provide any errors logged in the log files on the time the DC occurs.

Sorry Red, didnt see your reply earlier, advance 2000 server then there should be events logged in the eventviewer should any system errors happened.

Need to trial and error on which process could be ended in the server before running rfactor. A good point to start is first by sorting the processes by CPU usage, kill those high and irrelevant ones, then sort the processes by memory usage, again kill those using a lot of memory but is irrrelevant to the functioning of rfactor.
