I've never play that before. So, I don't know. Anyway, if you're trying it out, the most important thing you need to know is don't ever upgrade your Legendary commander before maxing the first skill. Other than that, you're safe to make all other newbie mistake.

oh wise master, please enlighten if did it wrongly ? now my engineering is level 4 only, but i can upgrade my CH 25 in 7 days time after upgrading the wall 24.
should i research engineering more before upgrading to CH 25 ?

I will suggest to upgrade the Engineering as high as you can. Every 1% bonus reduce more than a day off your City Hall building time.

I believe City Hall 25 is the longest one. But you can double check at this website for the other building time.

yea, almost 5/8 of my previous alliance all go war tech only, no farm tech, but if spenders war tech only l understand, but they are f2p

I think you can skip those Gathering Speed alliance tech unless necessary. Building and Research Speed are important ones.
For anyone who's always short of Gold resource for alliance tech research or flag building, you can build Mother Lode (Gold) resource center and make everyone farm Gold. It will add 500K to your storehouse when its depleted.

because chii waited 60 days to research all T4s without using speed up. my mathematics lvl 9 yo.

actually chii research war tech also, because just +10% gathering speed not going to break the meta. chii is also top 25 in gathering.
better get some damage and defense, so your T4 will walk over those F2P who actually sped up to train troops only but inferior in quality.
chii F2P also but only can kill F2P also.

l speed all 4 of them anyway my engineering and math maxed first before l attempt any other tech, so l'm super weak in combat, l have only 500k t4 now with 400k dead

hehe, chii got abit ragrets now because going to upgrade ch25 in a few days time and engineering only lv 5 now. feel abit stupid.
chii got 250k troops T4 but still hoarding speed ups for event.

l would wait till engineering lv10 even 1% might save you days of speed up

l got 120 days generic speed up hoarded, waiting saladin mge
