Wait till end of March see how much dividend. If 6% then almost no need bother already.

If I were you, I would use new money to buy. Can accumulate every month mah. So far it's like 0.2% different only. 100k = $200 different.

I don't think so unless you have a few hundred k. I don't know how difficult it is to buy ASM 1 on a normal day. If difficult, lagi not worth selling to buy. Should buy first then sell to cover. Or sell a bit asm 2 3 and buy asm 1 on first of every month.

i also tried a few times today but 068'd. If really can buy, means not suspended but not many people selling.

In fact, I tried almost everyday just for the sake of trying. Don't have much spare cash now even if there is a sale.

I don't think that's a bad idea. I might do the same when my pay is in, rather than backing out to ASW and ASM3 on Apr 1 when everyone will do the same thing. Next time got FD mature still can cash out and buy ASM1.

Assuming that this can be done, I think just pay the $15 unless you enjoy the catchas or hassle buying back. It'll cost you more if you couldn't buy back on time. Get it done on the first of calendar month. Otherwise lose 1 month dividend.

Zero knowledge in this. Strange that "The fund is seeking capital in foreign currencies so it can boost its overseas investments". They just need to issue in MYR and all the hungry nons like us will subscribe. But they will have to forex to foreign currencies, probably something the govt don't want?

So I don't think it's related to ASN at all. Only similarity is, investors invest, PNB make money and give them dividends, anything extra goes to PNB.

I think what they meant was, you need to buy at least 1 fund to register MyASNB online. The website will ask which fund you own (as per elder nexona's explanation the other day) when you register online. I was asked that when I helped mom's friend register online.

can buy other funds lah. Read Post 1. I also bought variable fund to register online and then buy fixed fund.
