I just have a thought, not sure how feasible it is

Yesterday my body was on heat. Don't feel like got fever but feel like my body is heat up fighting some virus or disease. No big deal except that my body feeling very tired and can't focus to work at all.

As far as I know, it's a good sign that our body is working on fighting virus, just don't like the part where I'm feeling fatigue.

Here is what I'm thinking, I tried several times in the past where I sweat out and then the fever or body heat significant lower and soon I feel a lot better. Correct me if I'm wrong, although I can reduce the fever this way by sweating out to reduce my body heat but my body probably haven't finish doing it's job fighting off the virus. Might be a better idea I let my body finish it's job and take good rest until everything return to normal

But what if, I sweat out to reduce the fever and body heat, then afterwards I take supplement/eat healthy to fight the virus/disease by foods and proper lifestyle? Does it work or it's better to rest and let our body do everything?

I think either you rest or not, it has nothing to do with your body ability to quickly recover or not. If you are too sick and your body too weak, you are unable to do your normal activity. In this case you need to rest.

It depends on how fast your body can produce antibody. This usually differ from time to time. Your body will keep the antibody formula but it will remember the recent one better, thus it will take longer time if your body is infected by same bacteria that attacked several years back. If new type/group of bacteria, they your body will struggle longer for formulation.

Pain killer like paracetamol makes you feel better by reducing body temp but it is not a cure. However, i think the effect helps you on positive thinking and perhaps fasten the recovery... perhaps. biggrin.gif

With only minor sickness, some people will definitely "feel better" after working out. Making the sickness more tolerable. Just keep it moderate/light.

If you are experiencing heavy symptoms, such as chest congestion, heavy sore throat, body aches.. etc, it's better for you to rest at home.

Drink more warm water, that's what my bf said to me everytime I'm fever la, sore throat la, eye sore la, period cramp ah, headache ah etc

If you feel feverish, you rest. You need to let your body spend the calories on fighting the virus or bacteria instead. But if you do still feel like exercising, just keep it light such as yoga or mild calisthenics. Don't go on do high impact stuff like deadlifting or 2 hour runs.
