More and more people here talkcock:

"If use Savvy sure won't die"

Can you even proof that when the collision occurs from ABOVE ???

"If use BMW sure chances of survival higher"

Again, did they use crash test dummy on VERTICAL force from ABOVE???

"Iswara is tested if vertical force 6 floor also won't hancur"

There's shock absorber, tire and damper on the car's bottom, what do you have for the 4 tiny pillar, on top?

"Myvi brake no good" + "No ABS lah"

Even ABS or brake got it's operating limit. If it's going beyond its stated specifications, it won't be capable at stopping the car. ABS or EBD, same story unless it's fitted with a Carbon disc, 2-pot caliper by Brembo or other racing spec braking system.

BASED ON THE STATEMENT GIVEN IN THE ARTICLE, IT CAN BE CONCLUDED THAT:

The Apple Green Myvi is going beyond the speed limit.

There's a phantom taxi that make legal/illegal U-turn.

The tragedy came when the Green Myvi hit the divider, then to a signboard, together both flew and turned 180 degrees and landed ceiling-on-ceiling on top of the unlucky(lucky) Black Myvi before more sommersaults into the pavement with trees and stopped there.

By the way, it's a TOTAL COINCIDENCE that the KOed driver is named LIM KOK WENG, so close to LimKokWing University there.

Drive savely, if you think by driving a Savvy or Beemer could save you from the same tragedy and a license to speed, think again.

even carbon fibre brakes has their limits

not means can drive real fast with modified engine...
at least wider tyre or modified suspension will give better handling and grip...
dont have any racers will drive a stock car for racing/speeding, except "stock car race" if any...
but still myvi not suitable for speeding as i feel...
*
better handling and grip...
yeah...
alot of people thing by puting 17-18 inch tyres on their puny wiras and swap their spring, they are driving a sports car liao...
in fact, morons who mod their cars will think they are driving sports car and hence more chance of getting into accidents....

QUOTE(Digitral @ Jun 4 2007, 10:07 PM)
that's why i decide if i buy myvi i wan with ABS...
this accident reli shocked me.
*
ABS cant do nuts if u still stop in a straight line....

omg man..wat an unfortunate accident.

Hypermount seems to be very happy when other cars than savvy get into terrible accidents and preferably deaths happen.

Why these ppl cant ever understand that speeding kills.. they want to experience it first hand is it? Driving a BMW or a Merc at high speed will also kill you in even of an accident...what more a Myvi...or a savvy even.

The papers say "kelmarin" got the car which was...2 days ago?
Now totally written off..thats sad man..

so now she can think of getting a Savvy instead of another myvi coz its tougher? tongue.gif Or maybe proton sales can use this pictures as a beneficial marketing technique to sell Savvy... tongue.gif

"Lu jangan beli myvi ooo..u tengok jadi macam ini.. Kalo beli Savvy..pasti No Prob...kerana kita ada BEBD! Backup Emergency Brake Disti. " laugh.gif

Perhaps the 'green/gold' MyVi driver were driving fast, and the taxi suddenly came in front of him (mostly will happen in Malaysia that cars suddenly turn into the lane), he tries to avoid it... and end up like this.

This picture is not about who is tougher. It just remind us don't speed.

Weird that when hypermount posted any accident pictures, people just goes "xyz vs Savvy" or "her vs him" arguments... doh.gif
