The things go like this,my university had launched a new attendance system which require students to connect to my university public wifi and key in the code to mark attendance. My phones Huawei Nova lite can connect to the wifi but cannot mark attendance due to no internet connection in the wifi, my friends phones , honor 9 lite ,xiaomi note 4, huawei Nova 2i all cannot do this. But my friends ,iPhone 7 and 7plus all can mark attendance easily.
2. What is the main reason, because of 802.11 Ac ? But honor 9 lite also equipped with 802.11 Ac.
Don't understand , anyone can tell me the reason behind this, coz I plan to buy a new smartphone too that can beat iPhone 7 on this but not a apple branded .
Thank you

Thank you Any device is considered to be connected to the router when it has been assigned the IP, usually done via DHCP Unfortunately if the router settings are not done correctly, this IP assignment might be slow even failed. This has something to do with the way the OS is programmed, and its more of an Android problem than phone model problem Another option would be to use a laptop running windows to mark your attendance

Do you need to login after randomly access any website? It's like the Selangor smart WiFi setup. Connect, go to any page, get redirected, then login.
Tell your it department, that it is just plain stupid. Adopt a system like eduroam. Need to login during connecting to the WiFi.
Make a video of you try to login. Everyday complain that the system not working with evidence.
Also, the WiFi network could be jammed, since so many device wants to do the same thing.
