Hey guys

Just wanted to ask if a pregnant woman can drink Coke or not
Not the whole can of course..just a mouthful

My wife is 5 months pregnant and she really really really craving for coke

My wife had a miscarriage before this (not due to drinking coke)..This is our second pregnancy

Thanks in advance

Can but in moderation.
Coke contains caffeine. Caffeine should be reduce and limited during pregnancy, but coke's caffeine content is actually lower than one cup of coffee so shouldn't be an issue. Pregnant women are advised to keep to max one cup of coffee a day (single shot).
If already drink coke, then don't drink coffee, tea or chocolate loh..
I still drink coffee, coke or tea once every few days. I understand that cravings for cold soft drinks that soothes the morning sickness tongue.

Your bigger concern should be the sugar amount in Coke. If she has sign of gestational diabetes, better avoid.
