Hdr 60fps can but somehow i noticed things like gameplay vids etc doesn't show the 60fps option. Just 1080p.

Just use naked. I came from s7e too and went through way like 5 different sp before giving up and just using it naked. Just get the screen warranty in case of any falls!

Note 9 at current online prices definitely cheaper than XR. Whether it's better or not depends on what you want from the phone as XR processor still the same with XS which is top of the industry right now.

IMO if you're not the type who likes to tinker around with the phone then stick with iOS as the change to android will surely come with a learning curve and inconceniences.

Go to dev options and reduce the animation speed to 0.5x the phone will feel much snappier!

Lag is very subjective imo. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. I think that there's a certain expectation when you pay such high prices for phones these days but as hardware progresses the performance difference between high end and low end is getting less and less.
The differentiators now are the camera performance, screen quality (samsung still the best imo) and other factors like battery and build quality.
So when you compare a pocophone and note 9 you think wah this phone half the price yet as smooth or smoother than the note 9. It's not wrong actually cause the pocophone internals are definitely on par or better.
They cut corners in camera but this is also subjective as some users might have lower expectations or do no need the "best" camera as the main purpose is social media.

Until now can't figure out what's the problem? normally if they can't figure out they'll just change the mobo etc. Maybe you just request new unit from them lah easier. Taking too long like this isn't something that should happen when you pay an arm and foot for the phone.

Just like how Google mocked iPhone for losing the headphone jack + having a notch and then proceeded to do the same things the following year. even if there's some people who wil be turned off by that but as consumers there's nothing much we can do eh.

Should be fine but for whatsapp i think just back up to the cloud and download back on the new phone easier. That's what I did when i switched over. All media and messages works fine. But wechat i not sure as i don't use it.

The XR is definitely not worth the money unless hardcore ios user but no budget for XS. Processor aside, a 720p screen in 2018 at that price point is really not gojng to cut it.

Especially with note 9 going for basically a bargain price right now.

Maybe the color not so popular so they didn't bring much stock in.

There's always going to be some differences between devices, the processor binning, battery decay rate, climate etc can all affect the battery life. Even though manufacturers try to reduce the differences between each device, still can't get every device to perform 100% alike.

Best not to obsess too much over sot and enjoy the phone used to be obsessed over sot when i was on my nexus and oneplus phones.

Probably price would have been the deciding factor? m20pro just released price haven't dropped yet.

Send and claim for warranty. New phone shouldn't be having such issues

1) the display still the best though try comparing with other phones even if they have amoled it's just not as good.
2) this is true to an extent but exynos is being slowed down on purpose by Samsung because they can't cope with the volume. Thats why they need 2 variants. And if they allow their exynos to be better than snapdragon, US customers will rage.
3) true, was expecting in display for note 9
4) camera is not number 1 anymore. That's with the pixel but really its more than good enough and at the current prices the note 9 is going for? Its a no brainer!
6) headohone jack rules them all. LG is just a mess.

Huawei is doing things right but it's so confusing. If i want a headphone jack, i have to go for the cheaper version which has a gimped camera. Kirin 980 is impressive though. But their design language (personal preference) is pretty bad. Notch and that squared camera module.

Anyways, the note 9 imo is the most well rounded flagship where you're not sacrificing one feature or another. Headphone jack, great camera, great screen, great battery life, great build quality.
And now with an exceptional price! I'd say we should be celebrating the price dropping so fast
