QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Oct 28 2018, 07:49 PM) It depends. In my case, they replace the mobo and battery on my old Note8 and the problem suddenly fixed. No more abnormal battery drain on standby and usage. But my Note9 battery life is getting worse by the day. The battery drain with DND on, full WiFi is quite high between 10 to 15% battery lost overnight. That's pretty abnormal. How about your SOT? Is it getting worse too? I'm getting around 5 1/2 hours at least if mixed usage between data and wifi. Full wifi can get 6 hours or more.

QUOTE(leongsem @ Oct 31 2018, 09:43 AM) if pro can support 3.5mm jack and micro sd, i will buy, hahaha Exactly. this kind of essential features they remove on the pro version really doesn't make much sense.

QUOTE(David83 @ Oct 31 2018, 10:26 AM) They want you to spend on their BT accessories including the new AI speakers. That's why in the end I still go for note 9. All the essential features are here. No need for gimmicky notch face unlock/in display fingerprint etc. Now Huawei even wanna release their own SD card which doesn't have any realistic benefits. Camera performance doesn't have to be the best if you know what you're doing with it. Most of the time just for instagram its more than good enough.

QUOTE(David83 @ Oct 31 2018, 10:32 AM) Next year, they may start to ditch the jack in S10 and/or Note10 I know its coming so get note 9 first. this follow what Apple does trend really sucks though. Let's see what Samsung does about the notch since so far they're the only ones who refuse to follow that trend.

QUOTE(horray @ Nov 3 2018, 10:46 PM) I tried it the other day. As the 9 is a pretty heavy and dimensionally long phone, it took me a long time to balance it on the Osmo Mobile 2. Barely managed to balance it. After that, functionally it was ok. I think the 9 has reached its weight limit for the Osmo Mobile 2. Not a good experience especially the setup and will have to do this every time. Ah so every time you set it up have to balance again? Quite troublesome if like that. Did you use it with a case?

QUOTE(lionelchia1986 @ Nov 5 2018, 02:19 PM) I also set it to changing silent/vibrate , but when I press the button it switches but after a while it will switch to another profile. It keeps switching. Is it because I didn't do the adb thing? Hmm not sure about that, i didn't do any adb things. Just installed and use

QUOTE(noteuser25 @ Nov 6 2018, 11:31 AM) but still very slippery thoo. what do you think about ringke onyx? Using ringke onyx now, feels good for me. Not slippery, but might be slightly bulky if you have small hands. Dropped the phone a couple of times already so far the case has done its job

QUOTE(lvoonjian8888 @ Nov 11 2018, 11:26 AM) Go and grab that Note 9, RM2.4k is the best deal so far. Wish to buy Mate 20 Pro but due to its global green screen issue, I withdraw my decision. In the end, still go for Note 9. Currently using Black Note 9 too, with Dbrand Camo Skin & Rhinoshield CrashGuard. The bumper looks good but doesn't it make the phone a bit too wide? Thought of getting one too! But even with my ringke case the phone too thick to fit into the osmo mobile gimbal might need to look for slim case

QUOTE(taint8 @ Nov 14 2018, 10:19 AM) I think theres plenty of them and lapsada is selling them for 30bucks. Got but not satisfactory results i gave up on screen protectors after using s7e. The hassle of looking for the perfect one not worth the time and money imo. Plus the screen looks and feels better without sp anyways

QUOTE(pandera999 @ Nov 14 2018, 11:14 AM) the X-one? this http://prntscr.com/li2zz0yeah. me too.... i gave up on screen protectors. using x-one on s7e... lol... feel much better no sp... using default casing that comes with inside the box too.. lol.. Casing I still use 3rd party ones like ringke. Can't stand the fingerprints and greasy look of the clear casing And the casing does help if the phone ever drops haha. I still have the screen warranty. Maybe should let it "crack" and change before it expires

QUOTE(pandera999 @ Nov 27 2018, 11:42 AM) i use xs before.. selfie on xs is as good as note9... compare note 9 and xs... is point and shoot.. xs cam shoot faster.. less blur it feels.. and note9 a bit blur.. need steady and shoot.. or im the one dont know how to take photo Agree on the note 9 a bit blur. Not sure what's the reason. You need to hold your hand steady for a sec or two if not the pic will be blurred. Might be shutter lag? Oddly enough never encountered this problem before on my previous s7e

QUOTE(noteuser25 @ Nov 29 2018, 08:54 AM) [I] if use data whole day only able to get at least 4 hours or more sot. maybe because i use umobile? did you turn on AOD? and location all those features? Not all phones are created equal sadly. Even between same model same chipset eg with our note 9, there's still minor differences that can affect the battery life. Eg the cpu binning, battery decay etc. Some people might just be luckier and get a set with better battery life The camera thing is kinda annoying though, does anyone know of a way to fix that millisecond of a stutter?

QUOTE(GAME_ON @ Nov 30 2018, 09:46 AM) i've change 3 TGs (UV type) already, all due to noticeable lifting after weeks of usage. getting tired of it, wanna find the regular non uv type TG after this. Just stop using screen protectors once you go naked, you don't go back.
