Thats what Im using too. Any SP/TG on the Note 9 will lift after sometime, no matter what the seller claims. So a cheapo Rm10 it is. So I can change every 1 and 1/2 months.
Hdr 60fps can but somehow i noticed things like gameplay vids etc doesn't show the 60fps option. Just 1080p.
yep, ive watched alot of csgo highlights on youtube, so 60fps is a must, weird is my mom using A8, able to play with 60fps but mine can't, somehow had to use vanced to achieve that.
Only one word for SP. Use a cheapo one so that you can change as you like. No TG is perfect on the Note 9 dual to its curved display.

Just use naked. I came from s7e too and went through way like 5 different sp before giving up and just using it naked. Just get the screen warranty in case of any falls!
after that will go back to the usual RRP, that should make the online price higher as well
i checked around it seems only SME offers discount for Note 9 at the moment, in SG they still ask for 1398 SGD ooch

Note 9 at current online prices definitely cheaper than XR. Whether it's better or not depends on what you want from the phone as XR processor still the same with XS which is top of the industry right now.
IMO if you're not the type who likes to tinker around with the phone then stick with iOS as the change to android will surely come with a learning curve and inconceniences.

I did twice for whitestone dome. But for tmax, I messed up during the first time, so since that I always asked seller to help installed for me.
It's not that complicated, just make sure you are in a dust free environment, stay far from windows or place with direct sunlight, and u put the phone on a perfectly flat table.

I have both. Pocophone UI is simple but note 9 is also smooth maybe the animation speed could be different.
I will choose note 9 over my pocophone.
That guy always appear . Using my s8+, note 8 and waiting my note 9 rhinoshield to arrive. Drop my phone countless time even on purpose not even a crack of scratch. If he dare me to drop from shoulder height and didnt crack he will give me his note 9 i will do it.

Maybe as they said, too many preinstalled app running on the background. When you find some comparison review on YouTube, you will find note 9 is a bit laggy compare to poco. But anyway...I guess I will go for note 9 because of the s pen..hehe

Agreed with Note 9 lag..i compared with my huawei nova 2i.. The huawei nova 2i seem to be much smoother and faster than my note 9.. Running Asphalt 9 on note have many screen lag while playing.. never encounter on huawei nova 2i..

I have asphalt 9 so far no lag but of course the game run in 30fps if im not wrong but den if u benchmarking with honkai impact 3 chuuu fk man can see fps drippingbut still able max setting 60 fps.

Nova 2i is a very under rated phone.
BTW, New firmware update for GPU turbo feature is enabled for Nova 2i.

Lag is very subjective imo. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. I think that there's a certain expectation when you pay such high prices for phones these days but as hardware progresses the performance difference between high end and low end is getting less and less. The differentiators now are the camera performance, screen quality (samsung still the best imo) and other factors like battery and build quality. So when you compare a pocophone and note 9 you think wah this phone half the price yet as smooth or smoother than the note 9. It's not wrong actually cause the pocophone internals are definitely on par or better. They cut corners in camera but this is also subjective as some users might have lower expectations or do no need the "best" camera as the main purpose is social media.
use it for one full day, u will see true different, thanks to my note 9 masuk wad, I been using poco for last 5 day, honest opinion, I would continue using it and sell my note 9. build quality, screen, camera ? I don't really care, now I free from mobile slave, don't have to worry scratch, crack, drop n bla bla bla, thanks to sick Note 9.

its their own chipset, obviously they have to make it to be more optimized and powerful for their own phone

u may see some advertise sealed box, some unboxed to register warranty. AFAIK, seller need to take the warranty sticker inside the box to submit to SME for incentive claim. my guess is those 'sealed' box are most likely resealed after unsealed as some dealers have the seal sticker.

All the while im HTC hard core fan😅 After U12+ launch and read some reviews, the battery i quite dissapointed beside the touch sensitive button issue. That why im decided to jump ship to samsung and particulaly for note9 due to battery. And so far N9 is not dissapointed me. Just i hope our market will get SD version instead of Exynos.

yup me too. i hope samsung would dump or better, tweak their latesg chipset. its draining my battery. but still manage to get 5 hours of sot with data. i wanted to get u12+ as well but htc is doing bad in recent years, really liked them when it first introduced themselves to the market.
Guys, i own both pocophone as well, In full screen mode with navigation bar hidden i am particular happy with their gesture to scroll from either side screen to do back function and from bottom going upwards for recent task or home . Does samsung equip with these ?
Why my SOT is so little. Is it expected like this if i on location all the time. Wifi in office, data otherwise. AOD, wifi,data off 12 to 7am. Brightness 40% throughout the day.

i'm using dwg fastview. but a recent app got some kind of bug when zoom in. sometimes its working sometimes its not. most of the files i open is more than 50mb files. its work fine when it should too... just live with the lil bug for now.
but now you can set to open bixby by pressing the bixby button twice. yup true. really like the screen and speakers. hows your SOT? is it very long?

Almost similar other than my phone in service center for 1 week without update, it seriously piss me off now.
Yours is special case i guess. 9/10 who visited sme sc give good feedback including myself. Got my s3 gear motherboard replaced in less than 2 hour in garden's sc.
For me this is bad experience they can't do anything but hold my devices without update untill I call up and complaint, they send me WhatsApp said will update me on daily basis start from now. Really wtf

It is a Samsung. It has been always like that. Plus I am happy with my purchase. Does not even bother one bit. I have been a long time Note user and the S Pen has been a tool for me for so many years ald. Ald tried Apple Pencil with my iPad Pro but it is just cannot beat the portability of the Note. Screen off memos, sign documents, cropping etc. No other phone in the world that have these kind of features. Plus the Note is designed for those who really use the pen. Not for the average joes. Even Erica Griffin from YouTube have been using the Note for very long and she use it to the max.
Plus Samsung is repaying us with free items and gifts on Samsung Pay and Samsung Members and that actually is giving back our investment to them back to us. That is why some of us did not even complain about the price drop.

Yeah sometimes my dwgs will crash and the app will close by itself.
Bought a Ringke Onxy and a $9.99 TG (not glue type) from Amazon whn I'm in US last week. TG not cover whole screen but it does cover the viewable screen, decided to fill a return. Amazon so generous, they issued full refund and asked me to discard it without shipping the TG back to them. Of course I did not discard it because I still rugi RM5 due to exchange rate.

Almost similar other than my phone in service center for 1 week without update, it seriously piss me off now.
This is weird actually. I have been going to my nearest Samsung SC and it has been a excellent service from me. It is weird when you said they have been holding your phone for too long. My experience with Note8 battery drain warranty claim has been excellent. At first they will try to reflash the firmware, if failed they will proceed to the next step. I tell them that my Note8 is hot and lag but in reality it is not, they did not ask much and replace my mobo, battery, charging connector mobo and wireless charging coil for free. And the best part all completed within 2 hours. When I got the phone, the battery life is excellent surpassing my expectations. And the Samsung SC call me back 5 days later to check how is the phone and everything. I think no other smartphone manufacturer goes beyond that level of efficiency. Even Apple service center experience I had is way below that what I get with Samsung.

For me this is bad experience they can't do anything but hold my devices without update untill I call up and complaint, they send me WhatsApp said will update me on daily basis start from now. Really wtf
Until now can't figure out what's the problem? normally if they can't figure out they'll just change the mobo etc. Maybe you just request new unit from them lah easier. Taking too long like this isn't something that should happen when you pay an arm and foot for the phone.
to be honest, Samsung customer service indeed very good, just some center that causing problem, after i make a serious complaint to Samsung customer service today (1800XXXXXXX), now they back with some offer that i can't reject

alright guys. battery question. been using 3G for the whole day from 7am to 5pm when i finish work. is it consider good? everything is off. And no power saving. and yes i just did a factory reset on my phone.
my with all sycn on, connect BT 24/7, connect wifi, at poor mobile signal area, i can reach 3 hr ++ to 4 hr only. but my without any social network apps, only one is WhatsApp.
to those who pre-ordered note 9, do you feel sad now knowing that the price of the phone has dropped to the price of an Iphone 8.... because i am freaking sad

There is, but you cannot stow them away inside the phone Galaxy Note style (kinda defeats the purpose to be honest) and you must buy the pen separately
Likely requires batteries too (in a similar fashion as Surface Pen)

I am quite confident that Samsung will not follow the notch way or removal of hp jack.
The leaks so far of S10 do not mention any leak.
If think about it no reason to remove the hp jack. Replace with what? nothing! none of the companies who have done this 'innovation' actually have a better replacement.

Man, my T-maxx TG has few scratches already even with much care. Similar to you, dedicated pocket and all. Even had the spigen tough armor for raisitivity (floss carter pun intended). Scratches happens, like it or not.

Should be fine but for whatsapp i think just back up to the cloud and download back on the new phone easier. That's what I did when i switched over. All media and messages works fine. But wechat i not sure as i don't use it.

I seldom use wechat. But I think for wechat, you link it to your computer and backup to your computer.

would recommend Samsung charger instead of wireless. because according to some articles, wireless charging will degrade your battery as the amount heat emitted while wireless charging is more immense than fast charging. but still down to you

And do u set the charging alarm to 100% or below? In other words do u charge too 100% or not? Because in the AccuBattery charging alarm state if charge until 60% battery it only uses 0.0-0.01% battery charging cycles where as if charge to 100% will use 0.90% charging cycle.
I dont know which to follow because i thought batteries nowadays should charge as soon as possible to the max to keep the battery life?
depend on what u want lor, galaxy watch u need to go in to Samsung eco system (which not mature, less apps, app build quality poor and most apps can be found in wear OS for free or in the box).
Huawei GT watch is brand new OS so nothing much to share, but Huawei eco less complicated than SAMSUNG.
for today, watch normally use for notisfication and simple features, for me i choose longer battery life device as wearable.

I always use flipcase I will change to a back case if I need to use waze in the car And I DON'T believe in spending lots of money on cases. My limit usually below rm50 By nature I am very careful guy. I had NEVER accidentally drop my phone for last 9 years. I am shocked to read some users can report they can drop several times a week!!

I always use flipcase I will change to a back case if I need to use waze in the cases. And I DON'T believe in spending lots of money on cases. My limit usually below rm50

Same with me my case max to rm20 only cheaper is better same goes to TG just use less or max to rm10 per TG
You are basically OCD None of my buyers ever examined a phone so closely as you Infact ALL my buyers are often amazed at my display as I never use any type of SP. Don't believe in such stuffs

iss it ? dip inside water = but if water leak n no warranty cover (base on N9 member comment), (so is there a different) cannot resist rain drops ? u sure ? cannot sign documents ? I don't have document need to sign online yet.
for the prices I pay, it can do much more than N9.

Read one message only, if u want to read more Pay for premium apps, than u can read history and so on, is not expensive (i think rm 7), but that paid APPS work when it WANT to work, also PAID APPS ruin your PHONE notisfication too ...

Message notifications from phone...We can do reply messages from watch or only can view.. eg ..WhatsApp, telegram other etc..?
46mm battery life is what it should be, and could have been better. 42mm is equivalent to the Gear Sport, IMO if you already have that then there's no reason to upgrade spec-wise apart from the Galaxy Watch's loudspeaker for calling.
For WhatsApp we can view all recently notified messages, but reply only to the latest received message. Im unable to view photo via the watch. Its rather limited, but it is what it is. Hardly think its convenient to do messaging via the watch anyway, I usually use the predictive reply. So far calling experience has been rather good on max volume

Earlier I also had the same experience, but then I changed telco from DiGi to Maxis, and now battery life is good overall.
Depends on your telco and its service in your area. DiGi at my office really sucks, and also sucks my battery hahaha.

yup... already received it a week ago... and there's a forumer here inform me, he received the phone on the same day as me. Have you received sms notification that your warranty registered? I received the SMS on Friday and received the phone on Tuesday after that (which is last week Tuesday).

Ya, friend contacted GoShop via FB, their CS replied that out of stock; re-stock on 31-Oct... not sure how true is that. Really shitty service.
I order on 6-Oct; also received the phone last Tue like you... so I guess, they sold alot between 6 & 7 Oct till they ran out of stock for ppl ordered on 8.
Looking forward to your review , especially the S Pen touch sensitivity and whether the screen protector is scratch resistant
I did a short review... in few previous post... the front cover is a plastic... S-Pen sensitivity... not much different for me... if you fell less responsive (which not for mine) you can increase your sensitivity...
In a youtube review... thw reviewer mwntioned you can take out the plastic cover if you still want to use a tempered glass... but I did not tried it.

There's always going to be some differences between devices, the processor binning, battery decay rate, climate etc can all affect the battery life. Even though manufacturers try to reduce the differences between each device, still can't get every device to perform 100% alike.
Best not to obsess too much over sot and enjoy the phone used to be obsessed over sot when i was on my nexus and oneplus phones.

Mainly internet based stuffs - browsing, tweeter, Facebook, YouTube, newsfeed, mail etc Strength of wifi n LTE will affect battery life - mine I consider quite good average 100Mbps from unify and 80 to 90Mbps from Celcom

did you guys encountered the device auto restart itself even the auto restart function is turn off? plus my whatapps messages wont come in until i press on the whatapps icon..

The price is just too tempting, just bought from shopee at 2685, new sealed box. Another seller selling at 2649 but opened box, so choose the sealed box option. Black is sexy.
but no CLEAR COAT paint, u can't call that painted cause that color already mix with material. I don't go polish my phone once it got minor scratch. I don't go repaint when it have deeper scratch or dent.

IKR... Hence why I skipped it all.. DIY myself, cheaper and more worth..
Do you guys have problem connecting to 4G with Digi recently? At 1st I tot line problem, but when i put my Yes it detects 4G even only with 1 bar while Digi gets 4G like a second and then change to H+ wherever places I went.
