k back to some stuff bout the Viva i have ...

fuel consumption is somehow improved and i got like 25% more since my first tank

my last fc tally was RM60 for 310km, thats 19 cent per km

and my second tank was RM55 for 410.3km, thats about 14cent per km

and driving pattern is 40% highway, 60% city

weird, hehe

The fc will become better when u drive more.. I also encounter this problem.. So far.. My viva now manage to get Rm55 420KM.. Good enough for me.

I don't think anything can do to the car for better fc. Maybe install a fuel saver? Or mini turbo perhaps?

eh i did nothing to the car, drive as normal la ... it just got better ...


but as someone who has said before, even if the car has high FC edy, there is nothing much we can actually do, besides go complain, not sure what they(P2) can do also, we are basically stuck with it edy, just hope for the best lo ... mini turbo? where u wanna put? haha the engine is noisy edy, wanna put something like that some more ... hhaha old edy, just wan a quiet ride that does not gulp fuel ... my old perdana was likk hell RM50 - 120km

Just tell ler.. XD Anyway.. actually i just learn from my dad how to get better fc.. I always see he driving.. he never pass through 2.5kRPM.. He will remain <2.5kRPM when he is driving. And sometime he manage to get my car goes to 450-480km with RM55

Added on November 22, 2007, 11:46 pmyeap, thats right, if you dont push too hard ... thats how it goes, i use a n auto, if you are not a heavy footer, just go like normal, dont push it, the rpm will never go above 3k wan ... unless in highway la, but if u folo the speed limit of 90km/h - 3k rpm is where it will be ...

and the same goes for all car, like my parent's altis 1.6 auto, if u drive normally it will not hit 3.5k rpm wan ... so its kinda saving, if u keep on pushing it, flooring the gas all the time, ur petrol will go down fast as well

try pump ur tyre air pressure front 220kpa n rear 210kpa in da morning
or 230kpa n 215kpa in da evening ever 7-10day once~

Means everyday go to petrol station pump the tyre? Thats kinda troubling.. XD Any other way?
