what he said is the first service is 1000km then second service is when u reach 5000km NOT 6000km (1000km+5000km).. i believe he is right cause that's my case too (not only my car.. also parents' cars from various brands). maybe you should check with your SC again..

of course.. most significantly is the power.. with 850cc, i doubt you will make it to genting with 4-5 person inside (perhaps manual will just make it).. it's sort of underpower as it's quite heavy compared to Kelisa. even with 1000cc auto i felt that the power just enough only with full capacity (4-5 persons inside). last friday just climbed Bukit Genting (penang one) with 4 persons inside and it did quite good.. just that i use the lowest gear (mine is auto, thus gear 2) and the shifting changed quite rapid as i deaccelerate and accelerate (dvvt played heavy role here)... i doubt i can make it with 850cc auto

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Apr 14 2008, 11:41 PM) one thing i noticed when even there is 3 person in the car is that the braking power reduced drastically ... early breaking is advice able ... not sure what does EBD does at all for such a small car with 2 disc and 2 drumb brake .... same goes with ABS also ... sometimes emergency braking i can still feel the car skid ... and mine is a premium 1L can hit 140 easily alone in the car and 150 can also la, but dont want to stress the engine at about 5 - 6k rpm ... can hit 150, but dunno if emergency can stop or not ... hehe EBD works for me.. what you need to do to try it out is speed up your car, do a hard brake and turn your steering to left or right. you can actully feel the effect mine Ezi also can hit 150 in highway but i think will stress out the engine..mostly hit 130 at highway nia

anyone know penang should have known bukit genting quite well.. i climbed with my 1.0ezi with 4 ppls inside.. no problem or whatsoever throughout the progress.. it's more steep than the actual genting, best of all is the road is not tar road so definitely less grip there viva noise level got that worst? the one bug me a lot is the motorcycle and bus sound when they ride nearby my car but i dint heard any funny sound inside (yet) pretty good for 6 months+ viva eh ( already pass 10k mileage mark).. as for 1.0cc premium vs non-premiun, there are good charts in perodua website so y not go there and browse a bit? but i can give some idea here.basically the most obvious difference is the rim where premium will have sport rim. it also have ABS, EBD and Airbags (yes, came in pair). i still see a lot of ppl opt for viva even after SAGA is launched and i wonder why since the SAGA is cheaper and have bigger space too (reputation? queue time?) viva rulez!

QUOTE(cyberloner @ May 9 2008, 02:36 PM) Yes ... The master of good technical is there.... My tit tit tit is gone at the moment... it is coming from the window pump steel... the technical takes it out and tighten it and gris is all over ... he also put a lot of gums kinda at all the joining place he can find... me really salute his ability to detect and fix it... buy him nescafe ice and treat him a smoke =) So if u cannot manage to fix it.. drive to penang Does anyone here add extra air filter? heard from a friendly bro at perodua there .. told me we must put air filter to keep the air cleaner and extend the air cond lifetime and he told me mostly imported car is coming with it. i always went there.. in fact i only go there to service my car. many people said the place not so good cause it will simply recommend you to add some stuffs (like the air filter, heat spreader) without explaining much to you but i dont face this case before so no worries for me. one thing i dun like is they charge me rm2.50 for a super normal battery water without asking me whether i want or not.

meaning potong the car that have and merge it with your back viva @lunacy, dont tell me they charge you labour $$ all this while or you just want to show only? so far no new problem from my viva but noticed that the oil indicator ratio is not fixed (i.e 1 bar not always equal to 50km/60km). i encountered situation where 30km dropped 2 bars.. at first thought got leakage but at the end of the day the total oil consumption is the same (compensate by other bar i think). already complained about this but no improvement..

QUOTE(babber @ May 13 2008, 06:16 PM) maybe someone who owns it, is qualified enough to open one. did my question burden you to answer? hell no. i dont even care if you or someone else wants to reply my question. perhaps someone who is friendly enough will. so mind your own postings and dont even bother mine. if you are looking for a debate this is not the thread. so back off. im posting here coz i'll drive a viva too not that i've never driven one. hell ya realize this is not a thread to do certain things too.. so you know.. but you still done.. so you are shooting your word back. and there's no such rules that non Nautica owner can't open a discussion thread (not owner thread, mind you.. or you just cant differentiate) IF what you mean by qualify= owns the car last but not least, there's no burden to answer your question as the question is not valid at the first place This post has been edited by l_berd: May 13 2008, 10:35 PM
